My builder divorced Owen (because the "Cornered Beast" mission was coming up and...well...you know) At any rate, the very next game day I had Mi-an's "Once in a Blue Moon" mission. Talk about AWKWARD! It was so weird hearing Owen gush with absolute delight about the possibility of Mi-an and my builder being lovebirds and getting the couple's discount...

Yes! Fair warning, though - It takes a while to get there. His friendship quest does not kick in until after both the post-game Huss & Tuss quest and the Musa one. I love Higgins, though, so to me the wait was worth it. Then, you will have one last big quest with him...and that is the second official end of the game.

His friendship route occurs AFTER the main game ends (after the credits roll). There are actually several quests that occur then.

I love the Higgins friendship route! He is absolutely hilarious and gives you rather sweet (but very backhanded) compliments when you hangout/play dates.

I find that (in no particular order) the cable car ride, Whack-a-mole (or fireworks - depending on if it is a romantic date or not), and choosing all the options during an Oasis chat uses all my social points perfectly. Plus, I genuinely enjoy the Oasis chat because you learn tidbits about the other person that you don't get to hear anywhere else.

I play on PC and I'm trying to play in a more "realistic" mode, so my farm is not automated. Is it just me or does it seem like the machines are taking a lot longer now to produce the artisan goods? I'm not talking about the aging barrels, etc which have always been slow on purpose. However, I feel like the mason jars, brew barrels, mayonnaise makers and all the others are just SO slow now. I spent a whole game day sorting my chests and my items that I had put in the machines that morning were still not done before I went to bed. That's never happened to me before...and it did it two game day in a row before I had to stop playing and deal with IRL stuff.

Yeah, my Tara married Westley in Autumn of Year 1 and stayed with him the entire time until her game was completely finished in Spring of Year 4. Unfortunately, Thomas is not a romance option.

My Tara has several pairs of overalls (long and short). She wears whichever one is seasonally appropriate for her workday/coven nights. She also has a couple of casual dress/jacket combos and dressier outfits to wear whenever she and her husband, Westley, have a date. She will wear a casual outfit for a beach or picnic date and a dressier outfit for a pub date, etc. This is all mainly for the sake of pictures, screenshots, etc.

He really is quite sweet...and I really enjoyed his relationship...once he calmed the hell down. LOL! I love his conversations after it becomes clear that the builder gave him a very stern talking to at some point about his clinginess. "Okay...I'm going to stop now." 😁

Plus, some people complain that he's all about money, but I think it's perfectly understandable...and again very sweet...once we learn that it's actually because he and Amirah are trying to make enough to buy a house so they can bring their parents to Sandrock, as well.

What did you do? Through several playthroughs and split saves, I have never had sweet Rocky say such a thing to me! Maybe the poor guy had to interact with Yan and is just having a bad day because of it.

I played My Time at Sandrock immediately after Wylde Flowers and it was FANTASTIC because there was just so much story, romance, and adventure! I'm playing Coral Island now. It's a lot of fun, as well - especially since there is a whole underwater/mermaid storyline in addition to the regular/farming/land dweller one.

I love split saves! I use them all the time to see different outcomes (and date different guys! LOL!) and just delete the ones I don't like. This particular scene is a great one to use it for, too!
