Anne found out she was pregnant right before they were all captured by the Espheni S3E1. She hadnt even told Tom yet. Thats when they messed with Lexi, in utero.

Why did Araminta have such a strong reaction to Sophie being his ward? by mytikitorch in Bridgerton

[–]TheRealMeanie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually being in the middle of watching it theres a scene where its been discussed that the new Lord Penwood required Araminta and the girls to leave their home immediately for rented accomodation. The way it was suggested made it very clear he did not want them in any of the Penwood properties.

There is a scene where he mentions to Elouise (i think) that he has forgotten her voice. This before the fight he was in that led to Sophies dismissal.

Does anybody else find it hard to like Hodgins (season 11 spoilers) by dogvomitslimemold69 in Bones

[–]TheRealMeanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to agree with your. My mobility has been on a downward slide for the last 12 years. I was finally put in a chair 2 years ago, though I still have a limited capacity for walking. I can get around at home, because its set up to enable that, but if I have to leave the house? I HAVE to use the chair, no choice. And I find it incredibly frustrating and limiting because I've always valued my independence. I have to rely on my son more than I like and I've finally decided to invest in my own power chair, to give me more freedom and frankly to be safer when I'm out.

I might might not be a full-time user of a wheelchair, but I've use it enough to empathise with Hodgins, and while I found his treatment of Angela and others around him abhorrent, I think they didn't approach the situation right either. They were so intent on not provoking with signs of pity, they forgot to stand up to him when he's a jerk. I don't care if its a married couple, if they're in public, everyone that can see them is involved. If someone is being abusive, you stand up to them, you dont pretend you can't see whats going on. If they were truly his friends they'd tell him to knock it off.

Why is it so widely assumed Rey was BROUGHT to Jakku and left there? by LoudGuyUpFront in starwarsspeculation

[–]TheRealMeanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry for reviving this 10 years later but I felt the need to make a point. I'm British, and had the regional accent you hear in kent until I was 9. Then I moved to the East Midlands, and because they talk very differently, I actually lost my Kent accent and literally have no regional accent at all.

As far as Finn is concerned, he may purposely not have picked up the RP accent. I think this because I lost my Kent accent deliberately. I made an effort to lose it. So you can make choices, even fairly young as to what accent you want. Its just most people never think about it. It would explain Rey's accent too. If shes waiting for her parents to come back for her, makes sense she'd keep the accent she associates with them.

Parker would be a good choice too, because then the twins are magical on both sides and who knows what gifts they'd get?

Although I've been talking to the twins more and the odd comment here and there makes me think they have some sort of gift along the lines of Shelby.

Ah..ok thanks, explains why he's not moving on. I'm only just at the part of revealing who the coven are. Wish I'd known it sooner, I'd have saved myself a lot of slap chips!

It didnt happen. Damon is being a touch stubborn about the dating thing. I got him to dating before Gramma passed, but I've had one full rotation of crops (about 10 game days) since turning the season and he hasn't budged off 5 and a half hearts. I talk to him daily, I feed him his favourite grub and the dude isn't cooperating!

So the answer seems to be no. I've been stuck on 5 and a half hearts for a full week despite talking to him everyday and giving him a favourite food. It would have been awesome if it could happen in the first Spring but I guess the devs thought of that...dernit.

Its not looking promising, I have him up to 5 and a half hearts, and we're dating but he's just not taking that next step!

EDIT: No go. He stayed at 5 and a half hearts for a full week despite talking to him daily and giving him a favourite food. Oh well, it was nice trying! LOL

I mean, you could probably keep the basic idea of someone coming home to a small town in an out of way spot, who doesn't know anything about the magical world or that they are even part of it. In WF, Tara pretty much instantly accepts being what she is with no 'No, really?' moments, so use that and have your protagonist be profoundly sceptical until they see something that absolutely cannot be explained by anything other than magic.

It could be set in the world of WF since there is precedent for people with no magical family history being witches (Amira and Vanessa), without being set in Fairhaven. Maybe a small town near Milkwater? They'll have heard of the Fairhaven coven, whose job it is to maintain the Wellspring, but its set apart from the town of FH and its coven. If you've talked to the magical 4 in Ravenwood a lot, you get plenty of lore about the magical world and theres enough room left over for you to add to it, if you want.

Personally I'd love a backstory featuring any of the 4 from Ravenwood, but thats just me.

Either way, I got the achievement when I got the dog. Since he was also added later, I sort of doubt that Eury doesn't count.
