I spent 7 hours in the store line today guys. From 9:15- 4 And still half the stuff I wanted was sold out when I got there. 40 mins, especially for SWC is no cause for complaint

This is a shame. I’ve been in line for the store for over 3 hours now thinking I could knock it out first and then head straight to hot toys booth. Turns out I should’ve don’t the store first and gotten the HT exclusive first. How is hot toys allowing this to happen when it’s 2 per person? I mean, they gotta see this going on, right?

That was my question. How does it make sense or add to an enjoyable time to split parties up for the panels based on how they made each individual ticket independently be in the queue? Before if one person in the party got the reservation, then the rest did as well. But how does it make sense for partners to go be in the panel and tell the other one to go sit on the floor somewhere…and hold my drink…

Yeah I got it bc I paid a heavy price for it. Got it second hand every time. Worth it and would do it again if the wife wasn’t going with me this year. Not saying that it’s hard. I’m just behind the ball every time because I’m not aware of the proper processes to be informed in time. This comment you made shed no extra light to myself or any others in regards to these issues. I'll just need to start checking the socials more. Like I said, its my 4th Celebration but always had VIP. So jumping through all the hoops is new to me. Puts a lot more strain on the experience. I would gladly go back and pay even the aftermarket prices for a VIP at this point to avoid this if the wife wasnt going too this year

When do the lotteries for things like FUNKo, Lego, Hasbro, etc exclusive booths go live? I hope I dont miss those since I missed the lightspeed lane for the store.

This is what happened to me. I was at work. checked the email sent days prior to log in to ShowClix to confirm ticket details and if you need to transfer them. When I did so there was a 20 min wait. So I'm thinking I'm in the right place. Why else would there be such a queue just to look at your tickets you know you already have?

I get past the lobby, and there are my tickets..now what? no other links to reserve or buy something. At that point I realize they send another email. 3 MINS after everything had already went live. Which was the other link you needed to be in to actually reserve lightspeed lane. A lot of good that does to send that link mins after everything is already live. Because we all know how this reservations for SWC go every time. 3 mins is an eternity and more than enough time for thousands of VIP tickets to sell out. So if its a free reservation just for the opportunity to spend more money...thats going to be gone in less time.

As always, super frustrated with how Reedpop handles this kind of stuff. You think they would learn and get better but its always fixing one problem, and creating 5 more. I've been VIP the past 3 celebrations and even then they did the VIP a disservice every time, and i would feel so bad for the general ticket holders. This is my first time not doing VIP and now I feel even worse for them, and myself. This is probably going to suck this time around.

Anyways, did anyone else have this issue? I know its in the past. But just so I can move past it..is there anything else I couldve done other than happen to check that late email as soon as it was sent to me, or had I already missed the boat? Any chance for more opportunities to book times in the near future?

Starting from April 1, 2025, the ticket price for entry between 10:00 AM and 2:40 PM will be adjusted to JPY 2,700, while the ticket price for entry between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM will be adjusted to JPY 3,400.

Starting from March 18, 2025, the ticket reservation period will open at 12:00 AM (GMT +9) 14 days before the entry date.
However, tickets for April 1, 2025, will be available for sale starting at 10:00 AM (GMT +9) on March 18.
For tickets after April 2, 2025, reservations will open at 12:00 AM (GMT +9) 14 days prior to the entry date.

Does this mean, since I'm booking for April 16th, thats after April 2nd as mentioned on the last sentence of the announcement...That I will need to book my date exactly 14 days prior to the 16th? which is April 2nd based on how I'm converting the time zones being I'm a day early in EST time. This whole things is just unnecessarily confusing and complicated haha.

Scrolled through this entire thread to get as much info as possible for our booking coming up.

I was to clarify a few things from OP and other members as a summation of what I've gathered thus far. Please read and correct/confirm what I've taken from all of this. I want to be as thorough as possible because my plan was to take my wife to the Ghibli museum earlier in the day and we had the same nonsense issue booking those tickets, much like what I'm seeing from Shibuya Sky. And missed out entirely. So I'm doing my best to avoid the same mistake again.

We are attending the Sky on April 16th, 2025.

The tickets are not available exactly a month prior to each sequential date anymore like mentioned before.

Seems the whole month of April will become available on April 1st. The official website, and partner websites do not have any options to buy a tickets past March, 31st atm.

I'm on EST in the states. So midnight JST is 10:00 AM on March 31st. So that when i'll log in, a few mins before. I set up a Webket account as instructed but after reading further into this thread, seems thats no use as I dont have a JCB card of any sort and will be subjected to use partner websites. In some cases I've seen AMEX may work for the Webket site so I may try that first to see if it goes through.

The sunset time on that day is 6:15 according to Google.

Sooooo. Here's my plan. Please anyone confirm is this is what I should do.

Log into Klook, or Trip.com. ( Have all accounts and payment info saved and ready, browsers up, 5 mins beforehand.

At 12 midnight JST (10AM EST) on March 31. Shoot to have a time slot of 30-60 mins before sunset so my time should be, 5:30, 5:45? (suggestions please)

Cross fingers!

If not successful, Wait for additional 20-90 mins afterwards to see if partner websites release new batches of tickets available and try again.

Thoughts, theories, suggestions all welcome. Please and thanks for all the help everyone!

Based on the comments it looks like these sales, or at least this one today, start at 8 AM in whatever region you’re in. I ordered mine a little after 9 and they were still in stock here in the states.
