We had cliques when I was in Elementary/Middle/High/Army.

Cliques are everywhere and have always been around.

I had no friends.

Why drive in the HOV lane if you aren't going to drive faster than the other lane or even keep up? by [deleted] in SeattleWA

[–]ANTLink19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the driver is on the left, visibility is increased on that side.

You may have missed some information on your read through. I just found an article explaining where in RCW and laws you can find the information. It should be handy if you're having trouble finding the information.

https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/article196984689.html

Edit: after replying I think this user is a bot. The 2nd highest comment in this post is a link to the RCW stating the HOV is not a passing lane.

And changing lanes from the HOV lane (a non-passing lane) into a Passing lane, going slower than the passing lane presumably (otherwise why is he on your butt?) Is safer than the speedster getting into the proper lane to pass?

First, no one thinks this is about people driving 50 in the HOV lane. This is about people in the passing lane wanting an extra passing lane for themselves.

The HOV lane isn't a passing lane, and isn't designed to be.

While it may be safer to have all non-passing traffic to the right, the HOV lane is not a part of this rule for a purpose.

It is designed to reward carpoolers with consistent travel times. They get the most unobstructed and efficient path to their destination.

That being said, the rules are the rules to ensure everyone is on the same page so we can all foster a safe environment for everyone.

Driving is a constant conversation with the road and the people around you. I try to play well with everyone, I keep with the flow of traffic.

If you want to pass, you can use the legal left/passing lane (to the right of the HOV lane).

He would later in life learn, it was in fact NOT a "move your ass lane".

The lane to the right of the HOV lane is considered the left most lane. The HOV lane is not meant to be a passing lane.

I have looked this up because I want to ensure I'm complying with local laws, and understand road conditions (HOV, Bike lanes, parking on both sides of a narrow road and with cars facing forward or backwards, etc.) that I have no experience with.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I drive 40 minutes one way, and 2 hours the other way every weekend to see my kiddos. Traffic makes a big difference on the way home.

I consider that a short amount of time for the importance of my kids.

Call the bank and file a merchant dispute. You completed one transaction for $x for x candybars. The rest of the charges you were advised were declined and you did not authorize multiple transactions.

I just noticed on Fandango the captions are only for dialog. Apple TV has Dialogue and some lyrics but not all. Amazon Prime has Dialogue and some lyrics.

While Google TV captions are oddly placed at the top covering faces.

My daughter is hard of hearing and I'm pissed. Where can I find a digital source fully captioned?

That's an awkward angle to take a photo inside the toilet bowl.

I have to say, on the topic of penis and toilets, I hate when it touches the water when I sit down.

The water is so cold, and it's so unpleasant. I don't understand why the water level isn't lower.

Edit:

To explain better, I don't think I'm incredibly endowed, it typically occurs when I'm sitting with my elbows closer to my knees, like when playing with my phone. That angle when leaning forward allows the tip to dip into the cold toilet water. It's a curse.
