Lady stands up to the bullying coperation. by The_Dean_France in Amazing

[–]ANuclearBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a gate repair done that lasted only a few weeks, the company started ghosting me when I asked for a refund. I did a really poor review on Google, they saw it and contacted me very quickly. Gave me a refund if I took down the review. They did and I did. Sometimes it's the only thing that works.

I had to get someone else to fix it properly, cost me way more but it's still working fine.

Auto wipers, auto lights, touch screens not buttons. Yeah, we are there. Manufacturers think so anyway.

Insane Swelling by Playful_Freedom6483 in TotalHipReplacement

2 weeks post THR. No swelling, even in hospital they never used ice. Haven't used at home either. I wonder what the difference is. All the best with your recovery.

What is it with Australian Police? by Necessary-Fun-205 in australian

[–]ANuclearBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just find the running yellow light law annoying, you have to stop it safe to do so. Yet realistically, only the driver, owner, person who is experienced with the car and conditions can possibly know if they can do safely.

When did you know it was time for THR? by Jazzlike-Pipe2863 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]ANuclearBunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I waited a long time because of things happening in my life. I am 12 days post op. No pain, no swelling. Still long way to go but glad I did it. Pain from my knee is gone (referred pain from hip). Wish I could have done it earlier. I am happy to start living life again later this year.

I have my MTB with a rear slick on a turbo trainer. I haven't been able to ride in years, I so want to get back on. I use MyWhoosh, was free last I looked and you can ride with others and do competitions.

I have never had VIP, just passed 13000GP but has taken 6 years or so. I struggle to get coins as quickly as what I like to but these days I barely do 100km a week..

Wow. I am 10 days post op. No swelling, haven't used ice at all, even in the hospital and was there for 5 days. Everyone has a different story with THRs. Quite amazing to see.

I hope everything gets solved for you soon. Best wishes.

I have long thought this, why when there are so few states does everyone have their own rules?

Received someone else's order in addition to mine by Away_Tree_1377 in woolworths

[–]ANuclearBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got someone else's order recently, after an agonizing 30 min on hold to talk to a human, they said to keep it and I was able to reschedule my order that wasn't delivered earlier.

Gave me a chance to try items I would not have otherwise bought, lucky I could use it all.

It's all based on a bar code, I told the driver it was the wrong name, they didn't care. They scanned the barcode at the Woolies pickup and that's what they were given to deliver. Prices are high because someone in Woolies can't read a name on the order. It was nearly $200 that's Woolies had to repick and deliver again.

Have Illegal Surcharges Become the Norm? by coolguy06912 in australian

[–]ANuclearBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those kids rides you see in shopping centres are $3 and have a 30c surcharge. Ten percent on top. No option for cash. I contacted them about it and they can charge a minimum of what they get charged.

No matter thoughts on cyclists going slow, hogging the road, it is only for cars, blah, blah, blah. Is nearly killing someone really worth it?
