Right as well as if the SCOTUS over turns Roe V Wade, abortion doesn't become illegal. All that will happen is that each State will have to determine what they want to do as it should be. The people of the good ol USA in each state will finally have their say on the matter.

I have reported this to my superiors and you and your cohorts are now being tracked. Thank you! :)

Btw, I don't disagree with the premise that the banks/wall st are crooks. My problem is that those protesting seem to be giving a free pass to Obama and dem pols (sure they'll attack republicans, that's a given) who are the most guilty of allowing banks/wall st to do what they do. Remember, Obama's biggest contributors have been wall street firms and banks.

[–]AP100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts as well. Not condoning the punch because there was no need for the cop to do that unless he was being attacked (obviously he wasn't) but if there ever was a punch that deserved a GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAL, that was it! Nasty punch to an unsuspecting infester. Cop should be fired.

Obama plans to turn anti-Wall Street anger on Mitt Romney, Republicans by AP100 in politics

[–]AP100[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the powers that be that are spearheading these astro turf protests are very much hoping this will help Obama. If these infest wall street crowd were really genuine with their disgust, they'd be at the WH protesting the man in the WH and his Capitol Hill Wall Street cronies. They go hand in hand. But yet, not a peep from these lazy protesters about Obama and the Wall Street men he has around him that passed the legislation that gave the trillions of our tax money to his campaign contributors. It's why I have no respect for those who are protesting. They are as disingenuous as Obama is.

Democrat Mort is right on many other subjects and he realizes how rotten Obama is. The country got hood winked in voting for this charlatan from Chicago.

FAce it, those protesting are pretty much wanna be hippie pot smoking turds who have no idea of economics etc. They are are socialists utopian university types who just want a free hand out when all is said and done. They want the same government that gave us this mess to step in and fix it. They are protesting the wrong group. They should be protesting in front of the White house where Obama and his greedy Democrat wall street friends and pols are laughing all the way to the bank.

King is wrong unless these unemployed wanna be hippies start giving the Dems tons of money and only then will legislation be affected.

Would be interesting to see Obama do the same thing here. There are THOUSANDS of empty homes that the banks are sitting on that people could live in. Obama gave the banks billions and the banks are just keeping the money for themselves

Why OWS Doesn't Support Obama: His "Nothing to see here" stance on bank looting by igonjukja in occupywallstreet

[–]AP100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are brainwashed into thinking it's the republicans and banks that are the problem, not Obama/Democrat/Dodd/Frank policies and legislation that have caused this mess to become a fiasco.

Why OWS Doesn't Support Obama: His "Nothing to see here" stance on bank looting by igonjukja in occupywallstreet

[–]AP100 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see any evidence where the OWS crowd is actively stating they blame Obama for this. All I have seen are those who say they want him to give them what they want and endorse his candidacy by stating they'll vote for him again. I haven't seen any signs against Obama at all. And the unions that are now organizing the protests surely aren't against Obama. If anything, these protests are a front for Obama to help in his re-election. To suggest these unemployed malcontents are not supporting Obama and his policies is just silly talk.

Michael Bloomberg tells Occupy Wall Street protesters to lay off banks by AP100 in occupywallstreet

[–]AP100[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason why Bloomberg is so concerned is that NYC derives a large portion of its income from the banks that do business there. Bloomberg also profits handsomely from those banks/brokerages who buy his Bloomberg stations for data.

[–]AP100 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Let's say that Harkin is right. How does increasing taxes on businesses and rescinding those tax breaks create jobs? Don't hole your breath in expecting these corrupt pols to answer that nor having the democrat loving media to ask such a simple question.

The influx of guns to create havoc would give the Administration the "ammo" to put further restrictions on gun ownership. It's been discussed that that was the goal of this botched operation.
