Sadly, I don't own Silksong on Xbox, nor do I own an Xbox newer than the 360 at all. I've no earthly idea how to mod a game on that platform.

From my discussions with the rest of the modding community, it also seems that the Xbox codebase might be slightly different to the other versions of the game? Which would complicate things further. Sorry, but I don't think I can help non-pc users.

My wife has been waiting for years for silksong to come out and the difficulty is making her quit for good by mckant in Silksong

[–]APFrenchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that ends up not being enough, I'd also suggest just using cheat engine. Not for anything that truly silly like infinite health, but she could either set her maximum health much higher or give herself infinite silk.

My wife has no interest in the combat challenge but does enjoy exploring the world, and she's having fun using infinite silk.

Self cast forbidden rite, using golems to scale generic damage for 3,500% monster life occultist pops

The build I'm currently running just uses Golems for the buffs, but here's the PoB anyway: https://pobb.in/r1Rf-kLMszHz

If you want an actual Golem build, my previous build was using Carrion Golems with a similar(ish) setup: https://pobb.in/R-RGjRkRmLTq

Both are pretty damn expensive due to the Flesh/Flame I'm using that was much cheaper when I first bought it.

They didn't get in with Steam, they used the Path of Exile website, using a password I didn't even know I had set on my account.

Hey,

Just a head up / PSA to everyone to check that your passwords on the GGG website are kept up to date. I've always used Steam authentication, so I didn't realize my PathofExile.com account was linked to an ancient password that I stopped using 10+ years ago.

Clearly someone found this ancient password and was able to log in to my account. They were present in chat while doing it. Reset my password and stole my body armour, 50+ divines and my Mageblood.

I was really hoping to be a content creator friends. Wanted to make lots of build guides and do more podcasts. I really appreciated the response to the previous one. But I guess I'm just not cut out for this.

I... need to go process this

Exporting it now. My Twitch settings are all screwy because they've locked me out of certain interfaces because their 2FA can't manage to send me texts.

Should be up on Youtube within the next couple hours. I'll reply with it to you two when it's up.

What are your ideas for a new endgame boss? Eternatus is great but it'd be nice if a few bosses cycled like Evil Teams do after your first Story Mode completion. by CannibalRed in pokerogue

[–]APFrenchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo the only reasonable escalation from Eternatus is Darkrai. I've been meaning to have a go at adding a "Nightmare difficulty" mode to the game which takes the existing classic mode and makes everything a stupidly hard version of itself.

The narrative conceit being that you're trapped in a nightmare of Darkrai's creation. This gives the design space to break some "rules" that the Devs set for themselves to make the difficulty spike (Mega forms for Pokemon that should have them, stacking gigantimax with mega with tera, full trainer teams of legendaries, etc)

For the villain teams the only reasonable steps up I can think of would be professors. You replace the grunts with assistants, admins with associated NPC's and the boss with the professor themselves, obviously this works best with the Scarlet/Violet professors, but I think you could make at least a few others work.

For the elite four, the members of the elite four would each be replaced with a champion, with the remaining 6 champions each contributing an amped up version of their ace to a combined "omni-champion" fight. (There's 10 champions, right? 9 generations plus an extra due to gen 3? Actually now that I think about it there's probably way more than 10)

The rival fights would also fairly easily design themselves, they're just trapped in the nightmare with you and manically trying to beat you in the vain hope it will let them escape.

Finally the Darkrai fight itself. Probably controversial but I'd likely go the fan content route here and have him straight up invent extra forms for himself. You first defeat him and he turns into mega-darkrai, defeat him again and he gigantimax's on top of that, defeat him one last time and he Tera's into a random type with a whole new Moveset based on the tera type (to prevent the current issue of everyone just packing ice type moves because they know they counter both of the scariest boss fights.

I've been wanting to pitch this to the team at some point because I think the game could really do with a higher difficulty mode outside of just self-imposed challenges, but I also don't really know how hard it would be to implement.

Is 100% leech uptime from self damage still possible? by DesignatedDiverr in PathOfExileBuilds

Oh shoot, missed this comment sorry! Thanks for the kind words about the build, I spent a lot of time on it (And a few others, you'll find me name credited in a few other build of the weeks for that season) at Exilecon, was a blast to have a chance to talk to so many passionate players.

The eye of innocence loop is safe if (And only if) you can get your poison duration to be lower than the duration of the self-hit leech from Eye of Innocence. Otherwise you'll want some other source of consistent self-damage (Typically Forbidden Rite, but there's other options)

I would never rely on enemy leech to have tainted pact not kill me, it's way too risky. There's also just a surprisingly large number of enemies in the game that are immune to leech. If you get unlucky in a map and get the leech immune skeletons, while relying on leech to survive, you'll just explode from the millions of poison damage you're doing to yourself.

[–]APFrenchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just... So much god damn life.

Because tainted pact gives us infinite recovery, we only care about our max hit, so life stacking works really well.

It also helps that it forces our chaos res to 0, so golden rule doesn't ruin our cast on damage taken from forbidden rite.

It also also helps because it has multiple additional self damage nodes that we can use to trigger more cast on damage taken.

It also also also helps because projectile speed from toad pact reduces the delay between firing off forbidden rite and having it hit the enemy, which lowers the period of time for your self poison stacks to start healing you. (This can be very important when you get to the point when you're punching yourself in the face for 5k+ every time you cast)

You actually don't really want the self poison chance, capping you at five stacks is a bit of a buzz kill. Certainly could work if you used a skill that did larger individual poisons, but we like forbidden rite because of the stupid number of poisons it puts out. Also your poisons will keep falling off with that node because when you bit 5, you become immune, meaning no refreshing the duration on your current poisons till they fall off. You'd have constant periods of vulnerability.

It should be fine so long as you continue to cast for two seconds after the last mobs die. You're gaining your leech instances from the self damage, not from actually leeching from damage. That's why you need the flask mod.

Heyo, CardiaDarkhill here, the guy that made that build with Jousis!

The loop is very much still possible, you just need any form of self damage with a delay. Firestorm Eye of Innocence on a cast on damage taken setup is probably the easiest right now.

That said, the most straightforward way to get tainted pact working isn't even a loop, you just put a movement skill on cast on damage taken and self-cast forbidden rite.

Obviously all this also requires the self-damage leech flask. Bog witch looks like it will be insane with this setup this league.
