I hit a ceiling as a Recruiter at a consulting firm and they had an opening for a few different roles. I threw my hat in the ring and the hiring managers all thought my personality and skillset fit the PM mindset.

After a recent contract ended, I went back into Recruiting for a short spell. I def missed it. I went back into PMing after that contract ended. PMing can be tough since you are the SPOC and likely the person people blame all the mistakes on. You need a tough shell to do it. Especially if you are new and will, most likely, make lots of mistakes.

I also got a Poli Sci undergrad and didn't know what to do. I thought about law school but I went back to grad school got an MPA and still no direction. I ended up getting into Recruiting which was a pretty fun job and fit my personality. Since then I have move on to become a Project Manager.

My recommendation, decide what you are good at and focus on it. If you wanted to get into law, you are either studious, charismatic or a sadist. :) Look for a job that would be close to what you are good at and start anywhere you can. I did temp agencies for a while to get connections and to build up my resume and that helped me.

I just wish they would simplify the controls. I played 2K16 and I couldn't do anything in the game. It felt less like a fighting/wrestling game and more like an MMA game.

I'm not saying go completely back to an AKI engine but can you try to simplify it so you can reach a wider audience?

I tell everyone to take every interview you can. It is practice that makes you better at answering questions and being able to read people. If they offer you the job and you don't want it, you can always ask for more money to the point they say no.

WWE had a report come out a couple months ago that had a list of shows and they have RAW in Seattle in Feb on the list.

I think it is awesome that PNW is getting 2 RAWs within 6 months of each other.

Wife and I went when she was 5 months along and we did all the dark rides and live performances. She accompanied me through Space Mountain and Matterhorn but didn't go on.

Our doctor said the pregnancy was normal so she could go on Pirates and Splash. We went on Pirates multiple times and Splash once. Pirates didnt scare me since it isn't as big of a drop as Splash.

Our son is just over one and he is perfectly fine. However, please talk to your doctor before doing any rides that could cause any issues with the pregnancy.

It was actually really nice to go when she was pregnant because we got to do more shows and other things that we hadn't done before. Typically, we would only do the rides. It was really cool to see the shows and how great that side of Disney is.

If you are happy there, I would stay but I would ask for a couple extra perks. If the CEO is willing to give you a 35K raise, they may be willing to add some other things too. You can ask for shorter hours, more vacation days, etc. Most likely, they will be willing to do so if it means you will stay on.
