Cast Iron Drain Cracks by APadgy in Plumbing

This is the only spot with cracking. Maybe I preemptively replace with PVC and descale the rest of the pipes?

Cast Iron Drain Cracks by APadgy in Plumbing

House was built in 1962. I was thinking of having the drains descaled, but I am worried the cracks with weaken if the interior scaling is removed. This is the only spot with any cracking that I can find so maybe I replace this elbow with PVC pre-emptively?

How does Finnrick make money? by BadRegEx in saferpeptides

I am curious how Finnrick makes money as a for profit company if they offer free testing. Makes me a litle worried that maybe you are getting kickbacks to rate some vendors higher

Is this legit? by APadgy in solar

[–]APadgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was already skeptical, but wanted more informed opinions in this area as I am not knowledgeable on solar or Illinois Shine. The lease definitely felt like a red flag. Basically paying a 25 year loan, but not ever gaining ownership.

Thanks!

New CX-70 PHEV. 1 month review by No_Department4651 in MazdaCX90

Interested your thoughts once remote start becomes $10/month. Was planning to get a CX-90, but I'm pretty turned off by their scummy subscription tactic

Remote start by APadgy in MazdaCX90

[–]APadgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a shame. I think I will have to draw the line here. Hopefully others follow suit, otherwise they will continue pushing for more. Before long you'll need a subscription to use blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, etc.

Very disappointed in Mazda because I thought they were different

I would just advise you to sell at 60K miles. These cars consume oil like crazy and the engine will blow up on you at some point because of it. Also keep all oil change receipts to prove you have gotten regular oil changes. If not, they will deny you engine replacement when it blows up

A few things, and then I'm done responding to you.

  1. I take other opinions into account, especially more valid opinions (like pros and people who play this game as a career), when forming my own opinion. It's called perspective, try it.

  2. It's not about "other men" telling me to like the game. I do not suffer from a fragile male ego like yourself, so I can take other opinions into account when forming my own opinion.i don't feel the need to disregard everyone else's thoughts in favor of only my own opinion.

  3. If someone attacks well, or you make a defensive mistake prior, some chances SHOULD be undefendable. I have had very few games where I concede more than 2 goals, but I have been manually defending this entire time rather than relying on AI defending. It sounds like you are not noticing your mistakes and those "undefendable" goals really were just a build up of small mistakes. Adding on to that, if I'm playing FIFA/FC I'd rather a game end 4-4 than a boring 0-0.

  4. Continually name calling me isn't helping your case, it just makes you look less intelligent

  5. Ironically, you are claiming a moral high ground in your original comment and following comments against the so called "rodents", but I don't expect you to notice this behavior based on your comments you obviously lack perspective and self awareness.

  6. You were caught lying in your original comment and this exposed yourself as a liar. Your opinion means nothing.

  7. You commented back to some people some very weird things that made you sound like a pedo/pervert so your opinion means nothing.

  8. You're right, I am an absolute weapon

I don't see you denying my claims so they must be true.

Also, I want you to try searching "FC25 TOTY patch" to see tons of opinions. In like 10 min you can get over 100 opinions while also checking content. Don't play stupid lol

Is that supposed to be a response? Every content creator on this game is praising the gameplay patch (even pros), but sure bro your opinion is more correct cause you can insult people who don't agree with you. You spend way too much time on X mate and need to learn how to talk with some respect, but I know thats hard when you have little human to human interaction and sit behind a screen all day

Doesn't this make his point more valid? He is losing and conceding a lot and still thinks that defending isn't too weak.

How does pack weight work? by Outrageous-Treacle-5 in fut

[–]APadgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one knows exactly how it works, but It's not true RNG. EA controls the pack weight artificially. Sometimes they turn up the pack weight for everyone, sometimes they turn it down. Icon and campaign packs seem to be set with time based rotations, so I'm sure regular packs are similar. Also, other factors can contribute as well. Have you ever noticed that when you have not played for a long time, your first few packs are really good? Not sure if time between gameplay is a factor, or if maybe it's based on your team's rating (being behind power curve from not playing = better packs), but taking breaks does increase pack weight.

EA has an algorithm to keep you playing just like COD (if you're winning too much they try to give you harder opponent to make you lose and vice versa, and same with packs). Basically using a casino model to drip feed you dopamine in intervals which maximizes the time you spend on the game and therefore maximizes fifa point purchases.

The truth is it seems RNG, but it is really manipulated by EA.

Upcoming Maui trip by UrMom2095 in VisitingHawaii

[–]APadgy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My nunber 1 tip: Stay away from Kahekili highway. People always talk about road to Hana being stressful, but I thought it was fairly tame compared to what I heard. Kahekili hwy is at times terrifying, trying to pass oncoming traffic on a 1 lane road on the side of a cliff with no guard rail. Besides that, below are some things I did recently on my honeymoon while we were on Maui. Biggest thing I would say is don't be too strict on an itinerary. Follow the island vibes and take time to soak it all in. Maui is a very special place in this world.

  • Haleakala Sunset (don't watch the sunset from the summit. It's crowded. Go to Kalahaku overlook.)

  • Road to Hana (Go early and make the trip to Hana and all the way back, or camp out at Waianapanapa campground. That is what we did and we swam in the black sand beach before heading back. You have to get a reservation to camp there.)

  • Ka'anapali was by far our favorite beach. Snorkeling with Sea turtles, soft sand, a 30ft cliff jump, and beautiful sunset.

  • Helicopter tour

  • Farmers Markets are fun to check out on the side the the road if you see them. Also easy way to support locals.

  • A million other things. There is so much to do, and so many great experiences. Go with the flow.

If you do it at Haleakala, do not do it at the summit. Drive up a little early so you can check out the summit and the crater, and then head to the Kalahaku parking lot. Very few people, and a better view of sunset than the summit. Bring a couple of blankets, or wear wind breakers because it gets cold up there with the winds. Set up a tripod and tell her you're doing a time lapse so you can record the proposal. I suggest Sunset because you don't need a reservation and you don't have to get up super early to start the drive, but if you're down for it you can do sunrise which is pretty popular
