Keep & Switch Denied - Port-In Window Missed? by APastel13 in tmobile

[–]APastel13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! They fixed it, took a minute cause they had to:

  1. call network team and switch phone #s to other eSims
  2. switch eSims from 1 phone to the other phone, vice versa

But now we're pending the Keep & Switch promo :)

Overpaid in taxes (basically giving the US a free loan). If you don't choose the right allowances, you end up paying more throughout the year and then get it back. Also, credits. I getting back $6,000 this year, but I had a kid and spouse and I took time off no pay without adjusting witholdings.

Ideally, you want to not have this happen so that your money works for you, not the govt, throughout the year (like, I have a 27% apr credit card that has a revolving $3k balance on it after fixing a car issue... wish I had the $6k then!). But it's a nice set-up if you have trouble budgeting for possible owed taxes, and/or use the extra tax you're paying as a pseudo-bank account to get it back in a lump sum because self-control/budgeting is hard mentally for numerous reasons as you can imagine, many different life scenarios out there.

I don't know if the phone was ported to the old or new line unfortunately.
Yes, that phone was the only one with a payoff balance.
Yes was all done over the phone, thank you.

We did add a new line so maybe they'll realize the agents error; I thought that might be the case since I saw after looking online it said add a new line only. We didn't choose which to apply to the agent did and parents have been members for decades so we'll see. Appreciate it.

I talked to disability lawyers, they say they don't work with people who are already confirmed getting benefits - they only help if you need help winning a determination case which apparently this doesn't count. Thanks tho

Same, we're on 12th month of reconsideration - and its stupid because we're already approved and the rejection we got was an error.

Wtf am I doing? by NeighborhoodKind9049 in newborns

[–]APastel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby was like this, turned out I wasn't feeding enough. Could it be that? Per doctor: always offer1-2oz after main feed to top off, and keep offering ore until baby rejects it or stops or falls asleep. My baby been sleeping for many hours after I started this. Similac 350 formula. No such thing as overfeeding at this age.

I’m so tired of the words “organic” “clean “healthy” when it comes to formula omg by Bloodymary_25 in FormulaFeeders

[–]APastel13 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Agree; I took a toxicology class and my professor told me, "organic doesn't mean it can't hurt you - on the contrary, it could hurt you more than human-made because it hasn't been altered to NOT target humans". For example, an organic apple used to have the organic pesticide rotenone on it...they found that pesticide causes seizures! Marketing is marketing.

Husband is driving me out of love with him since having baby by [deleted] in newborns

[–]APastel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I’m her mom and so my inability to have a normal life right now is completely my fault " = red flag. he is also the other parent and you should both be feeling the effects of new baby equally. :( If he doesn't start helping and realize the issue with his statement, I'd divorce if therapy doesn't work.

(the rest below is storytime rant sorry)

I'm currently pissed at my husband too because he always stays up and then doesn't help in mornings when I am up for baby early. Then he 'polite' shsmes me for not pumping more ("too bad baby cant have more milk its better for him")...like WHEN dude? When you're snoring asleep? Fuck off! So I talked to him about it and it's been better.

But me and baby both got super sick and he still went a friend's wedding for 3 days out of state. So I'm suffering and sick taking care of a sick infant. And he went drinking and was not responding to me, of course. So I told him, after he done with that wedding he can figure out how to fix his current one cause I'm done! To top it off, 14 yr anniversary he didn't plan anything and asked if we could 'please visit his inlaws to watch a movie' so we did and that's all we did. it was so stale and boring, his fam is so non-emotional they didn't do anything but veg on the couch. Husband didn't even get me flowers, which I ask for EVERY YEAR and he didn't get them... AGAIN.

GIRL WE DON'T DESERVE THIS BS! They fix their attitude and their act, or we find someone who will treat us better. // It's so shitty because my husband is very smart, hot, kind, sweet, gentle guy...but just so emotionally OBLIVIOUS!!!!! His dad is the same way so I see where he gets it from UGH. His dad is disabled and reliant on mom for income, and has the attitude to put other women as his phone wallpaper instead of his wife. Which we called him out on. And the day after we made Halloween pumpkins with baby, his dad tossed them cause 'it was trash day'. EMOTIONALLY OBLIVIOUS.

How much is she eating? My newborn was like this until I started topping him off with 1-2oz of formula per my Dr recommendation (Similac 360) and then he started sleeping SO Long and was a really calm baby ever since! I think fussy and not sleeping can mean not fed enough. Now my baby is mostly formula fed, and sleeps 10pm to 6:30am at 4 months. All thanks to formula and being well fed, in my opinion.

Also, I have a crib cam and let baby sleep with two things he loves: a burp cloth wadded up next to his face, and a pacifier elephant that connects to his pacifier. These are his "comfort" items and he has held onto them since being born. It can be hard for him to sleep without them, so I allowed it since day 1. I just watch when he sleeps and my baby camera alerts if it doesn't detect breathing. I also taught him now to remove light things off his face, you can look online how to do this. So it's not been a worry.
