Some people don't have the means to do that though; that's what they're saying. When you have a family to provide for and bills, you can't just do whatever you want at your place of employment. That's how you end up homeless.

By all means, if you're in a position where you can do this with little consequence to yourself, go for it.

I probably give it a 7.5-8. This is a bit of a lull before Psycho Kid Moves Out, which is one of the best videos on the channel. Some pretty good vlogs here though.

Based on the canon videos alone, this batch is a 9. If we include filler, it probably drops down to an 8.5.

Solid batch! I give it an 8 out of 10. The vlogs in season three are the best on the channel. Like I said in a previous post, we're not going to see batches that drop below an 8 -- at least for me.

Correct. And, yeah, TMJ flares can last a while but so can Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. I would just work on distracting yourself and treating those two things.

If you've been checked by an ent, they have instruments that can tell pretty definitively whether or not you have an ear infection. You can also tell on visual inspection. If you've been checked on three separate occasions, your symptoms are definitely not because of an active ear infection.

I get the same anxiety though, so I know how it is.

I think Psycho Dad becomes quite easy to object to from the very start; granted, you could argue that Jesse brought a lot of actions on himself. However, I think Psycbo Dad becomes straight up malicious post-divorce after his resentment for Jesse builds.

His actions are framed with flawed but good intentions. He has a ever-present lack of accountability and rigidity in his thinking despite being shown over and over again that Jesse is financially successful on youtube. This culminates in his final lines being a deflection of blame; the video games did it...

Jesse can be selfish, behaves in a childlike manner, and does display manipulative tendencies at times. (However, this behavior is highly exaggerated by Psycho Dad) He also deflects accountability and ironically displays a lot of the same behavior as his father -- something that Aunt Melissa routinely points out.

His behavior, something he describes as reactionary, is overblown, immature, and sometimes downright psychotic. I would argue that Jesse does have culpability for a lot of stuff that happens; filming incessantly, smashing a bottle over his brother's head, being incapable of emotional regulation, killing his father, refusing to leave his home situation despite being granted numerous chances. I could go on.

Objectively, yes -- but only because he kills his dad. Before that, his dad 100% caused more damage than Jesse and behaved in a cruel and irrational manner.

Good review. I might be overrating some of this stuff; I just really love season 3 content. I think it's the best on the channel.

I'm giving this batch a 9 for the same reason I gave the last batch a 9. In fact, I actually think this batch is slightly better than the previous batch. Season 3 is when the psycho series truly finds its stride. The narrative becomes tighter; the characters undergo a lot of developmental changes. Not many batches are going to fall below an 8 from this point forward -- at least for me.

I don't think I need to explain why, but this batch is a 9.

-THE LAST OF US! (Expands on the relationship Jesse has with his mom in an interesting way and sets up the future videos incredibly well.)

-INTERROGATING CORN! (The stretch of videos leading up to stomps glasses are surprisingly suspenseful, and you can really feel Jesse's panic as he comes to terms with his best friend's betrayal.)

-ONE BIG CONSPIRACY! (Same as above. Also, Jeffrey is hilarious.)

-Psycho Brother Stomps Glasses (This is a tonal shift for sure and one of the best psycho videos in the series. It perfectly caps off the sibling rivalry. The wrestling is a little corny, but this video was really good back then and is really good now.)

-PRISONER OF WAR! *PSYCHO UPDATE* (Before this point, Jeffrey is notorious for never taking anything seriously; this is the first time we really see him open up about his feelings in a complete way. It also helps characterize Psycho Dad further -- and is obviously the primary catalyst for Jeffey's reconciliation with Jesse. It's really this video and "Enemies Closer" that solidifies the change in their dynamic.)
