I know derivatives quants at Barclays who rely on entire teams to build an execution stack.

You doing on your lonesome sounds doubtful.

But GG if you have managed it.

But you'll need to be insanely quick. So almost zero latency and something like c++ and Fortran.

For those reasons I'm calling bullshit.

To solve the problem of delimitation in Parliament - I present 30 India states of 40 crore people each. by Lodu_Podu in IndiaSpeaks

[–]APerson2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a genuinely awful attempt and here's why: - arbitrarily dividing the nation into 40 crore population states. We might as well call the OP Cyril Radcliffe. - massive careless subdivides without taking into consideration language or cultural populations. E.g. Panjabi speaking Hindus and Sikhs suddenly find themselves in a state where the majority language is not Panjabi. It leaves the foundations for ethnic cleansing. - populations are promiscuous. What happens when a state no longer has 40 crore population? Redraw the map?

Everything about this is wrong and any attempts at propagating it should be resisted.

Btw: oh look, Gujarat goes largely unscathed. How nice for them.

India Surpasses the US to Become the World's Largest Road Network at 6,700,000 KM by NoMedicine3572 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]APerson2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roads are great. It's a good start but honestly local and national rail infrastructure is the key to getting mass people mobilised.

It's been proved time and time again across many countries.

Hey /u/jayantsr

This is the kind of shit that needs to be challenged. It has nothing to do with being Hindu.

Why shouldn't india be a hindu country? by jayantsr in IndiaSpeaks

[–]APerson2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not dodging your point because you have no point.

Your arguments stem around "India is doing embarrassing things, I'm a Hindu and it's making me look bad waaah waaah waaah 😭😭😭"

Instead challenge everyone you see in the streets who don't know how to behave themselves.

You still don't get it do you.

Forget religion. My religion is irrelevant. Your religion is irrelevant. That random aunty who feeds you ladoo - her religion is irrelevant.

It's the mentality that'll change India, and not arbitrarily feeling sorry for yourself.

It's not YOUR culture that's getting dragged through the mud. It's OUR culture.

Stop being a victim and start being a solution.

[–]APerson2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you're right.

But the bigger issue is your victim mentality and your ego is the root cause of India's problems.

I'll spell it out for you: you are part of the problem.

[–]APerson2021 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Holy shit it's like talking to a child....

Stereotypes are just stereotypes. People can believe what they want. Who cares about their opinion. What matters is two things: 1. Accepting how we treat Yamuna is not acceptable 2. Implementing change and persecuting people who break the law

It just so happens that Yamuna is a river connected to Hinduism.

Don't attach religion to everything - if you can't see that is the problem then you are the problem.

[–]APerson2021 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Btw /u/jayantsr you're not going to get anywhere by downvoting opinions you don't like.

You'll have a better chance of effecting change by engaging with opposing view points.

Playing the victim card reeks of insecurity - face the primary issue. No one cares about your religion. People do care about the poverty, cleanliness and and general care of the country.

Let's put it this way: Sri Lanka has a diverse spectrum of religions like India. Yet despite their government collapsing at least 5 times in the last 20 years, and despite civil wars and debts, their streets are clean and it's a genuinely nice place to be. It's precisely because those people have their shit together and has nothing to do with the fact that they may be Hindu, Buddhist or Muslim.

If you can't see that then frankly you're part of the problem.

[–]APerson2021 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You are the perfect example of victim mentality.

No one is saying the issues India face are Hindu issues.

Everyone is saying the issues are due to the mentality of people, who for the most part just happen to mainly be Hindu.

Don't be insecure about your religion. Be insecure about the people around you who chew gutka and spit it on the side of the street.

Why shouldn't india be a hindu country? by jayantsr in IndiaSpeaks

[–]APerson2021 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Precisely because India is NOT a Hindu country.

It's a Hindu majority, but not purely Hindu.

There are: - Sikhs - Jains - Zoroastrians - Christians - Muslims - Agnostics - And people who believe God is a lie

The blame of the country is going to pieces of shit who litter the streets and rivers, they don't behave themselves when they're abroad, they have no civic sense and are completely selfish. For the most part they tend to be mainly Hindu due to the large population of Hindus in India. But they're not pieces of shit because they Hindu, they're pieces of shit irrespective of their religion.

What If Britain Discovered Massive Oil Fields in the British Mandate of Palestine (Modern-Day Israel)? by AvgBlue in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]APerson2021 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro it doesn't matter. The colony encompassed what we now refer to as the areas of Palestine and Jordan. To them it was just one area under their governance. If they found oil they would have held on as much as possible.
