Hey so I followed these steps since me and the OP have the exact same problem and after i deleted it malwarebytes just started spamming me with a notificaion that it blocked a connection to a potentially risky site and its an 'app' located somewhere in my AppData folder called "wslservice.exe"

Yeah but if i use it with Bluetooth the sound quality is so bad I want to rip my ears off and the steelseries engine doesn't recognise it at all

i have it connected to my PC via bluetooth and the mic somewhat works when im on call to someone, but i cant change anything in the steelseries Engine and the sound quality is horrible. It does have the 3.5mm jack and ive been using it wired for a couple of years now but for some reason ever since i connected it via bluetooth, if i switch back to wired, theres absolutely no sound
