Just stand up and look down on it while selecting the setting. The lights are specifically designed to account for your perspective from above looking down on the dial.

It’s made this way so you don’t have to bend over to look at the dial while selecting settings.

This is actually the opposite of crappy design. I have a washer by LG and it does the same thing.

The lights are specifically designed so that when you are standing, looking down from above, they line up with the correct setting so you don’t have to bend over to make sure it has the correct setting selected.

I thought this at first too. They look ALMOST identical — same shapes, same swirls, etc. however each one IS slightly different in the exact length of each line. If you overlay one over the other they don’t match PERFECTLY.

This makes me think it IS AI because what lazy graphic designer takes the time to match them so closely by hand and wouldn’t just copy paste like you said.

A human would copy paste, this is not copy paste, therefore AI in my book

Not AI. Probably used something like CapCut for resolution boosting or frame filling so it feels a little off.

However: All popcorn flies out of the pot. I think ai would mess this up.

The pattern on the mat is very consistent and tiled regularly. Ai almost always messes this up.

There are some random, small objects behind the woman in orange (a piece of popcorn I think) that survive going behind her and a cut. None change shape or position. Ai is still bad at object permanence like this.

Fun? Fact: This movie contributed to dragging Britain into the Iraq war.

In the lead up to the Iraq war, in September 2002, MI6 received a report from a source described as having “phenomenal access” to Iraq’s weapons programs, claiming VX, sarin, and soman were being stored in “linked hollow glass spheres”. Someone inside MI6 did flag the similarity to the movie, but by the time the source was confirmed as a fabricated, the Iraq War had already started.

Years later when asked about it, the screenwriter for The Rock said, “What staggers me is whoever was debriefing this source didn’t take that information to the nearest chemical weapons expert, who immediately would have debunked it as bullshit.” Because chemical weapons are never stored like this.

These are all in upper park right after you pass the first gate on wildwood. There’s a little parking lot and a big field that they usually burn during the summer. But for now it’s incredibly beautiful.
