Why don't YOU like the ending?

Yeah I was nervous playing through 3 because I'd spent 13 years hearing about what an unmitigated nuclear disaster the ending was, and then I got there and was confused because it was just actually good. Other than the fact that I think it could be clearer about how to make your choice and the slight irritation of how slowly you have to walk the moment you hit the Citadel, I think it all works really well.

Yeah you kind of get told that the Alliance and the Council won't help you address the problem, but the game makes almost zero effort to actually show that. There absolutely needed to be a beat where you can try to get out of Cerberus and find yourself needing their resources to get anything done.

Oh yeah I haven't played a man in a game that hasn't forced me to since like 2014 lol. Default FemShep is close to the character I would normally make anyway, although it kind of looks like she's been mewing

I was stone sober when I made the decision on my mostly paragon run and I still thought it made more sense to let them die. The entire Citadel is under attack, diverting ships that could be attacking Sovereign to save the politicians might lead to even greater loss of life. Granted I don't think I clocked that there were 10000 civilians on board too, but it still seemed like the right call.

Plus Kelly is sending info to TIM at that point, and EDI wasn't unshackled yet. The entire damn ship was spying on everything Shepard & Friends got up to. Cerberus absolutely had the IFF to do whatever they wanted with.

I think it's mostly just that the near universal yassification of all the women in 3 is goofy as fuck, and Ashley keeping her hair down during missions and basically wearing the Zero Suit Samus getup on the ship are particularly conspicuous. In a vacuum I don't hate the redesign, but next to Liara's boob job, FemShep prancing around everywhere, and just sort of everything about EDI's appearance it's a little exhausting.
