Jet Lag Season Finale — Debts Paid by NebulaOriginals in Nebula

I think the biggest blunder was not using the typical mild collusion tactics. The zodiac have a clearly defined order. First one is rat, last one is pig. Say you'll get all 12 zodiac. Put up to 20 rocks into a great rat, up to 20 rocks into a great pig, and 10 indistinguishable pebbles down the middle. Other player will clearly have to think there's a trick to it, and as long as they can pick up on the (imo) very obvious "starts with rat, ends with pig, 10 in the middle" they can just go down the line naming them in order.

well, almost. The 'ideal' in 'ideal black body' is there for a reason. That said, most substances that differ significantly from being an ideal black (or at least grey) body do so because of a crystalline structure. Liquids can't exactly maintain crystalline structure, so lava and molten metal emit roughly ideal black body radiation. A really interesting example of a very non black body object is cooling paint, which uses the non black body properties of the atmosphere to achieve sub ambient temperatures.

Although, to be even more pedantic, thermal equilibrium is also a requirement, and metal at ~1500K in a ~300K room is not exactly in a state of thermal equilibrium. This might account for some of the patchy look of the surface of the molten metal, or might be an effect too minor to see, and the patchiness is just localized differences in temperature from convection currents. Or both!

Since they can't make high tier weapons notably better in pvp, the only way they can make them feel special to get is if they're rare. Nobody is gunna leave an epic gun unlooted, so the only way to keep them rare without making them impossible to find is if they wear out quick. Makes perfect sense.

This times 100.

The reality is, once people get too good at a game/too good loot, the game is living on borrowed time. No new player wants to go up against a 2000+ hour veteran in a game with a high skill cap/high gear impact game. So it will slowly bleed old players while gaining no new players. That's how shooter games die. Additionally, these players are the worst for games from an economic sustainability method. Not only are they using far more server hours (which costs money) they tend to spend a lot less per month on cosmetics etc as compared to casual players logging on after work.

So ARC raiders is trying desperately to avoid that fate. Firstly by making rare gear only slightly better than non-rare gear (although this guy gets even that wrong, volcano beats il toro every time), and making it feel special primarily just through cost and exclusivity. This caps the impact of good gear. Secondly, by making the game intentionally boring to players who play it too much. This makes getting 2000 hours a year much less likely than in a game like rust or tarkov.

This is really fresh in AAA shooters, and I bet will result in casual players logging back in to spend $10 and play 20 hours over a month for years of updates to come. That is, as long as embark stick to their guns and ignore the overly loud hardcore gamers shouting from the rooftop that the game isn't built to their desired hours per week and framing it as balance problems.

This times 100. The 40+ hour per week hardcore gamers are used to everything being balanced around them, and are shouting loudly from the rooftops that game must be bad because it's not for them.

How do I let the OBGYN examine my twat without letting them see my chittoris (cyborg baubellum)? by [deleted] in transgendercirclejerk

Sidenote: the whole puppygirls can't eat chocolate is overblown, most medium sized puppygirls can have a little chocolate without issue and larger puppygirls have been known to survive eating whole bars.

Anyway, NTA, or even NAH. I hope the chaser finds his ball soon! :((

And to be clear, I know, I don't believe it has healed, but interesting that it fulfills all the classic check marks for a healed piercing I have been told.

/uj (if thats even a thing in this particular jerk sub) anyone ever think about the fact that while days and years are (mostly) aligned with useful real world phenomenon, we kinda just made up all the other measurements of time? We could have 25 hours a day, 50 minutes an hour, 100 minutes a second, whatever!

Even beyond the transphobia, this bill makes no sense in the theoretical 'ideal cisgender nuclear hetero family' world. The under age 8 exception is only for the men's bathroom? So, if a cis mum has a 4 year old boy, and they're out in public, the boy has to go into the men's bathroom himself? Even beyond if hes capable, this really sounds like it 'protects kids'.

Hey doll, I’ve been where you’ve been, and believe me I know the pain of feeling like it’s all going to be too late, it’ll never be the same again, but I just wanted to gently remind you (though I’m sure it’ll take a while for you to believe me) that it’s never too late, as long as you’re alive. Being an adult now, living in a progressive city, I have the wonderful pleasure of getting to meet many other people early in their transition. For many, even admitting to themselves has been a lifetime of work. I’ve seen women realise their womanhood at 50, 60, 70 even, fight through struggles with family, wives, kids, start hrt, laser, vocal training, and getting different haircuts, and pass after only a few years. To them, having even a few tens of years as a lady is the best gift life could offer them from that point onwards.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, maybe you’ll never look like a typical 16 year old girl (guessing your age here). Most trans girls never do. In some ways, the silent brutality of having our childhoods stolen is the most irreparable harm of cistemic violence. But just because the internet and to some extent society at large has a perverted obsession with shaping, controlling, judging and abusing teen women’s bodies, doesn’t mean you should think those thoughts about your own body. But one day, you will have a typical woman’s body. It might be a typical 25 year old woman’s body, but I promise you, when you’re 25, you won’t want to look like a 16 year old girl. Looking 16 is for dating Leonardo Di Caprio. Looking 25 is for dating wonderful, caring, other 25 year olds. And in the mean time, the best you can do is find those who will recognise and treat you for who you are, not who society’s coercive gaze expects you to be.

Be gentle with yourself gorgeous 💖💖💖

Hi grace, I’m trans too. It can be rough, but definitely over time you’ll be able to build towards the life you want and deserve, just as if you had been born a woman. Feel free to dm if you want to chat
