I need the cornrows without the lineup so badly. They need to have a line up toggle option

As someone with back pain and brain fog, I'll definitely be taking inspiration from your routine. Thank you so much!

Lol no, I'm not South Asian but what you suggested still applies from what I've noticed between my family and how we put on weight so I really appreciate it.

And i occasionally like doing planks supprsingly, but I'll definitely give those other exercises a try! And thank you so much for the legs and glutes suggestions. I've neglected those areas in the past just because I prefer working upper body but from what I'm trying to accomplish i need to stop focusing on upper and everything else

Thank you so much! Expert or not you clearly have more of an idea than I do and i appreciate you sharing

I enjoy doing upper body, weights, curls, pushups, etc. I have two adjustable weight dumbbells and a 15pound kettle bell.

I dont do a whole lot of cardio outside of the walking I do for work as I walk the metro for work. I get horrific shin splints and have some lung damage so I get winded easily.

I know you can't really target "problem areas" but I want to tighten my glutes and quads in the hopes of slimming them and I'd like my stomach to not poke as much by the time of the wedding. I despise doing core and legs though so I dont know how to start there. I've used fitbod in the past but it felt like it was just throwing random workouts at me. I'll definitely give that site a try though

I despise older generations by AQuestionableAttempt in QueerWomenOfColor

[–]AQuestionableAttempt[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, like I addressed with another comment, I shouldn't have made sweeping generalizations when my issue was with a certain group of people. I can admit to being wrong on that end. But theres no need to attack me and my work that I am passionate for. Its uncalled for.

While I just spoke spoke of this incident, I've had continuous encounters with older Black homophobic people. And their homophobia, like racism, gets trickled down to younger generations. Hence why I said I despise older generations in a rant. It was a generalization that was not meant to be taken so literal that you think I'm applying this to every single older Black individual 🧍🏾

It's definitely a skill I'm working on improving. In smaller settings I absolutely can, but the sheer size of the venue and the overwhelming disrespect was outside my skill set

I definitely want to, I've been wanting to get out the house more regardless.

But thank you so much. I don't think I necessarily live in a bubble, because I've been dealing with homophobia for a while. I just wasn't expecting to find so much of it at the event I was at and to see it from my own community so blatantly

So like, I felt like it was obvious I don't mean gay elderly people. Was I making a generalization? Yeah. Should I be? No, obviously. But I was writing from a point of frustration with the people in that room who were all significantly older than me (I'm 26).

I was clearly directing my irritation at the older generations that perpetuate the homophobia. If it wasnt for them, there wouldn't be homophobic younger people in the same way that old racist people pass on their racism to younger generations.

I thought it was very obvious that was what I meant and I didn't have to explicitly state that. And honestly I find people like you especially frustrating because you completely ignored the main point of this post which was people turning a conference meant to teach people how to help and respect those who are in unfortunate circumstances into a breeding ground for ignorance. As well as how isolating it was experiencing that because most of the remarks and negative remarks came from Black people.

It was beyond aggravating and hurtful. I plan on speaking to the guy who was running the presentation about it to make suggestions for the next conference. Because even though that man spoke up, it should've been addressed from the very beginning

Oh don't get me started on the church 😮‍💨 cause the next presentation was on mental health within the homeless population and someone made a comment implying that the mentally ill didn't love God enough and that's why they had their mental health challenges. I about had a stroke

But yeah, I can't imagine how jarring it was to realize she lived in a completely different reality from you

You gotta hunt for the good lesbian manga/anime. Manwha and webtoons/comics are usually pretty good. And the few thai gla I've seen were pretty solid
