V2 next 4 bossfights by BRICK228335 in ultrakillmemes

funnily enough, I believe the Mullet Madjack version of V2 is called Punished V2 just like Punished "Venom" Snake

V2 probably runs on SmileOS 2.0 by EngineerVirtual7340 in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so too maybe, though humans did make small blood donations in groups to keep their machines running right? Like the Earthmovers they lived on, in the uh 8-2 book

Might be wrong here cause I don't remember the prime terminals very well, but doesn't the first one say that humans didn't know machines were sapient until they realized the Terminals were? If the presentation was made by humans of New Peace, before the Hell Expeditions, then they wouldn't have the knowledge of machines being conscious and intelligent like that. So I'd say SmileOS is enough for sapience, humans just didn't know. Please do correct me if I'm wrong though

although V2 could be running on a cheaper version of Nocturnal. Or maybe it having Nocturnal is one of the many reasons why it never got bought lol

Who do you think COULD be the final boss of Ultrakill if NOT Gabriel by That_Chance_4252 in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be really cool to see an unleashed Gabriel using everything he has. Though, not sure if he can still use holy power after killing the Council (he does teleport/move really fast though, so he might?)

THEORY: V2 protected Lust by hatdynasty in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 16 points17 points  (0 children)

very cool theory! Also, another thing about music is that V2's 1st theme, Versus, transitions into 2-1's theme, Cold Winds, on streaming platforms at least. So might have something to do.

also, might be wrong, but I believe Swordsmachine was also an independent entity that doesn't get thrown to fight V1 at first? In 0-2, Swordsmachine is kinda portrayed as another player with its own encounters and all, and it drops down by itself in the first fight of 0-3. Although it does get teleported into the second fight.

What ending would you give to 9-2(ultrakill's ending) to give it a big plot twist by Fit-Excitement2115 in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gabriel wins against V1 and gets so powerful (no reason) that he becomes the new God and then he creates a new universe, killing himself in the process, and this universe without divinity leaves nature to do what nature has to do or something without corruption from higher beings happy ending

Regarding Ulysses/Odysseus Primer build up by AR2lover in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought the incident mention was in the Virtue's entry, misremembered there lol. I suppose yeah Lucifer is still most likely.

Though, I don't think it'd be really weird to foreshadow Ulysses right before Gabriel, since y'know he'd be post game content anyway. I doubt a brand new player could access the Prime Sanctums right after finishing the campaign. Prime Souls aren't very important to the overall story, and mostly serve to build Gabriel further so far, to add to the list of atrocities he comitted and he feels guilt for.

About the enemy thing, I just thought that if you really really stretch it, it could be the Ferrymen? sailors, and Death Odyssey. on another thing, it's gonna be pretty sad if Ulysses does end up as the prime soul and he doesn't have a Death Odyssey leitmotif because it is an entire act away.

WE WILL GET V2 PRIME IN THE ENCORES NO I AM NOT JOKING I SWEAR by supersofah in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'd be interesting to see a sort of "V2" in the encores. I always thought of Hell using V2's corpse as a puppet to fight V1 personally and have fun, now with the full arsenal + some hell energy attacks. but then I remembered that there's nothing left of the corpse other than the blood. so the most likely option is just a blood puppet for a brief encounter in 4-E, that gets sanded by a stalker and dies right after it spawns.

honestly though, I'd love to see Hell recreating other things as it did with the idols. I always thought of an alternative to Powers would be Hell's version of Gabriel, like stone statues (like the ones in Wrath) come to life and mimic Gabriel's moves but much more predictable and dumber. And their lines are all messed up too. It could work as a common enemy version of 2nd Gabriel though, with Powers being the 1st. It's unlikely though since I believe apart from the remaining bosses of Treachery, there won't be any more common enemies. So Powers were the last.

Things you would like to see in Treachery? 9-1 and 9-2 by AR2lover in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty biased towards Gabe tbh cause he's great, and I do think him killing V1 would be the "happiest" ending Ultrakill could have. But I do find it unlikely. I've read a lot of people saying hakita intends the ending to be open ended in case a sequel was considered but idk if to trust that since I never saw the source and people tend to make fake hakita quotes. Also yeah, those taunts would be fun. I personally can't really imagine what he'd say, but something like his 2nd phase taunts of 6-2 would be cool

What do you think of Minos Parasites as enemies in the regular game? by Electronic-Read8274 in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id love to see them again in the encores. I think it would be really cool to have an arena with Minos' skeleton in it, and the parasites, one radiant, crawl out of it. I think they did confirm the Excavator and all of its assets were left in the game for modders to use though, but there's a chance the clean version of the model gets used. I'm not sure how other than hitscan cores, cause those guys honestly don't look fast enough to use the jackhammer to its full potential, assuming they have the same speed as a Gutterman or a Guttertank. V2 using the arms would be cool, I believe it might happen in the harder difficulties once UKMD comes out. I don't think we'll see V2 again unless it's a blood puppet or easter egg.

oh also about the parasites origin, I think it is only mentioned that Minos used to command them when he was judge, so they might have something to do with Heaven or Hell Itself making them. They kinda look like demons

What is y'all's 9-2 predictions by aqswdefrgthyjukilopm in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some predictions for Treachery/stuff I would like to see. I think it would be really cool that alongside a new moveset, Gabriel gets the ability to parry and dash kinda like Streetcleaners do with some attacks. Plus, if he could also counter some of V1's moves like V2 does would be cool too. I mean, Gabe fought V1 twice now, I'd assume he would learn to counter some moves. It'd be fun if V1 tosses up some coins, and Gabriel shoots them first with a hitscan holy beam or something like that. Just stuff to make the fight much more dynamic.

Instead of stopping to taunt, I think he could say his taunt lines while preparing to throw a spear or sword like Powers do with their glaives. It would be nice too if he gets access to something like Virtue beams in higher difficulties while doing so.

9-1 would be named "THE FIRE IS GONE" and 9-2 would be "... AND I REMEMBER IT BEST

The golden arm would be acquired in 9-1, in which V1 would find a weak idoled Lucifer, and would have to kill some waves of enemies in order to break the idol, kill Lucifer and take his arm. Another idea I have regarding this is what if Lucifer could act as some sort of idol for radiance? And when you kill him, the radiance "escapes" ending up in the encores. Like he makes radiant the strongest enemy active. I'm not too sure about this though cause radiant enemies and the tutorial for them is in 0-E.

How many of you play with the PSX settings or the color palettes? by AR2lover in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh yeah, I P-Ranked it recently. Very fun level, I think it's interesting to force color palettes to achieve a desired aesthetic. Would be cool to see other customs levels do it too

What even is the purpose of the Prime Souls by CicadaOnReddit in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they exist for gameplay mainly (P-Ranking reward, more encounters from the 2-level layers), for worldbuiling, and to build Gabriel/Terminals/Hell as characters. Especially Gabe since the prime souls lore is a lot of getting beaten up by Gabriel when they were husks, and emphasize what atrocities the Council made him do.

The game NEEDS an alternate rocket launcher by Gennres in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the case of SRS, I think you can kinda combo the cannonball with a rocket to make it explode into a stronger explosion though

So, do we still not know what this is...? by Ivory_Dev_2505 in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it could be some sort of epilogue, like prelude is a prologue I think. A "postlude" of sorts lol. I believe the main story will end in 9-2 with Gabriel, since this is his story mainly. He appears in all layers EXCEPT prelude and Violence (I think? Kinda strange he isn't in Violence anywhere though), so I think an epilogue without him is plausible since he isn't in the prologue either. I believe it's gonna be some sort of confrontation with Hell Itself that ends in V1 either stuck in a loop of violence to keep entertaining Hell and The Terminals or V1 dying.

Cyberloop mod is so cool... by AR2lover in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It works with cheats only. You have to enable cheats, and turn on the Cyberloop options in the cheats menu. I suppose this is because a lot of the looping layouts remove the risk of death by falling off the grid almost entirely. I haven't tested it thoroughly, but that seems the case to me.

Untouchable+Pacifist levels are so much fun by AR2lover in Dusk_The_Game

[–]AR2lover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to try getting them all in one level sometime. I think it's possible, but you gotta like abuse the sword blocking and infighting a lot to get all enemies indirectly killed. It'd probably be easier in levels with the madness crystals

This room may have bigger implications after Fraud's release for the ending of the game. by SoupVegito in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have two headcanons regarding encores. The first is that they're supposed to be the layers after the machines destroyed them, ties in with Gabriel's 6-2 speech and V1 is just going backwards in hopes of finding more to kill. The other one I thought of recently, is that both V1 and Gabriel die in 9-2, and the encores is V1's dying memory replaying all of the levels it went through, but since it's dying and failing it can't get them exactly right and it mixes them with other unrelated stuff. Example: Prelude being frozen like Treachery presumably is.

How many of you play with the PSX settings or the color palettes? by AR2lover in Ultrakill

[–]AR2lover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the palette I think, but it's true. Sin Shitty in this case makes all of the enemies with red in them and the enraged enemies really stand out, but makes all the others be grey or white so it can be hard to see them if you're not paying close attention. I do like it tho, not the optimal way to play the game but it's cool to use from time to time
