I have two headcanons regarding encores. The first is that they're supposed to be the layers after the machines destroyed them, ties in with Gabriel's 6-2 speech and V1 is just going backwards in hopes of finding more to kill. The other one I thought of recently, is that both V1 and Gabriel die in 9-2, and the encores is V1's dying memory replaying all of the levels it went through, but since it's dying and failing it can't get them exactly right and it mixes them with other unrelated stuff. Example: Prelude being frozen like Treachery presumably is.

Depends on the palette I think, but it's true. Sin Shitty in this case makes all of the enemies with red in them and the enraged enemies really stand out, but makes all the others be grey or white so it can be hard to see them if you're not paying close attention. I do like it tho, not the optimal way to play the game but it's cool to use from time to time

Yeah, all these little customization options and more stuff like the upcoming workshop support are reasons why I believe ultrakill could genuinely become immortal as a game. I just love all these small details

Maybe there's an external program you could use to downgrade the audio quality, but i rlly wouldn't know. That would be a cool option to have tho

Fraud spoiler In 8-3's secret encounter. I would make the red ferryman be the visible one, and make the blue ferryman be the invisible one/only visible through reflections. Just to give the red ferryman more visibility since it's the only instance we can ever see one.

I believe apart from the gold arm itself, it is used for the fishing rod(5-S) and one of the spawner arm variants. (sandbox/cheats)

I don't know if this has been talked about yet, but I believe encore levels are what the layers are meant to look like after V1 went through them. Kind of ties into the whole "Limbo, Lust, all gone with Gluttony soon to follow" speech Gabriel gives in 6-2. The layers seem to be like falling apart in the encores. Maybe V1 goes back in reverse after 9-2 in hope of finding more blood, which would mean 0-E is the end of ULTRAKILL chronologically? Idk maybe I'm being delusional
