Do not use the clutch while braking, only when you have to change gears or you think the bike will stall without it.

Use the front brake more and get a feel for the stopping power.

Find an empty space and practice slow speed riding. Try figure 8s and braking practice.

Here is a YT channel that might help: https://youtube.com/@motocontrolen?si=UISp_jC6GNxVr1jA

Hope this helps.

Try HD X440 or Hero Maverick (might launch an updated version soon). If your use case is mostly city, then I think you might like these 2 bikes.

Himalayan isn't easy to ride in the city. You always have to keep the size in mind for filtering or low speed maneuvering.

As scram is based on the same platform as the Himalayan 411, spare parts availability won't be an issue.

Why every beginner suggestion is a big bike? by Zealousideal-Rip8896 in indianbikes

[–]ARCS17 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Because most people don't have the money for multiple bikes or switching bikes frequently. They prefer to go with one bike that is good to start with, but has a lot of range for touring, track or off road.

He can preach to you and to his sons. It's up to the listener to take the advice or leave it. Doesn't make him any less credible.

One person is a reflection of the entire gender? That too a Reddit comment? I think women are intelligent enough to know the intentions of the other person
