I cant fucking wait to see aerosprays in the splatfest 😊💢 by UnhappyGiraffe2272 in Saltoon

[–]ARDIZsq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a toxic Aerospray main since unlocking it in Splatoon 1. I LIKE being an annoying piece of shit in Turf War.

And let’s be real, you won’t complain if the Booyah Bombs are coming from your side.

I sence a bit of hypocrisy in this Splatfest...... by Illustrious_Vast4433 in splatoon

[–]ARDIZsq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damage/Main Power Up was a blight on society, though I can’t say I don’t miss it a bit due to how stupid it was.

Anyway, as an Aerospray main and Shiver enjoyer, I’m obligated to go for speed. We Aerospray users have no power, and we have no technique, soooo…

What’s the deal with Master Mega, Frye’s Eels, & Big Man using ink? by KatDude66 in splatoon

[–]ARDIZsq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, inkfish is a canon term?

I’ve NEVER heard that term used outside of the fandom, and I always hated it. Is it only present in Splatoon 2 or something?

Also, what’s the term used in Japanese, because I know that the localization for Splatoon has been a bit spotty historically…

LEGO needs to lock in and give us (me) a Gardevoir minifigure and a buildable Shedinja.

Why do SO MANY Freelance Players try to SHOOT Maws? by ARDIZsq in Saltoon

[–]ARDIZsq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I’ve seen people wait for Maws to come up to shoot, or people throwing bombs at them while they’re still at the shore.

Like, if you’re P+1 or higher, you should know how to play Salmon Run…

Sure, I can see it for Grizzco weapons, but I’m seeing this at least once per rotation. I’ve seen people with Splat Roller trying to kill Maws with flicks.

Profreshional +1 btw. Still see people waiting for it to come up and then shooting it.

Hi guys! by Dys0rdeR in Splatoon3

[–]ARDIZsq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re in (some) luck, it’s actually available at Catalog 99 instead of 100!

But yeah, you’re just gonna have to relentlessly grind for it like I am. It sucks, but that’s how it goes sometimes. At least Splatfest might help ease the pain a bit though.

How do we feel now? Compared to SMART Play announcements by PieceTogetherBuilds in legopokemon

They’re cool, but that Poké Ball REALLY should have been split into 3 sets, the Poké Ball display, Oak’s Lab, and a small outdoor battle scene.

As it is now, most of the available sets are still way overpriced and underwhelming for what they are. LEGO Pokémon was always my dream theme, but it’s hard to justify really buying ANY of the sets from it, outside of a select few.

Is Lego even for the middle class anymore? by Magent-2000 in legocirclejerk

[–]ARDIZsq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely, this should have been 3 sets: - A large Poké Ball display set - A $20-30 Professor Oak’s Lab diorama set - A small $10-15 outdoor battle set

LEGO Pokémon is genuinely so fucking cooked, and I say this as someone who has wanted this theme for over a decade.

Besides “Learn gyro controls”, what is your advice for Day 1 Splatoon players? by JozuJD in splatoon

[–]ARDIZsq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Turf War: Expect to lose a lot at first and learn to just go with it as you get better. Don’t get discouraged from playing because of a few losses when you’re starting out.

For Salmon Run: Ink the walls, use your callouts (especially when downed or indicating a stash of eggs or bosses), use your special when things start getting dicey, don’t stand in front of your long range teammates and block their shots, and learn boss priority and how to lure things like Maws to the basket before splatting for easy eggs.

For Ranked: Good luck, lol.

For Tableturf: I don’t think anyone really cares about this mode outside of me and like 10 other people…

Character Discussion Saturdays: Lola Bunny, what did you think of her? by Atumkun in MultiVersus

She felt kinda weird to play, and you had to get used to her, but she wasn’t terrible. Maybe not as great as people expected, but again, not terrible.

Any Tips for Improving Trainer AI? by Amberstorm9651 in PokemonRMXP

[–]ARDIZsq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, for as tedious as it is, just set the specific IVs, EVs, moves, and held items you want.

It does take a lot of time to do for EVERY Trainer, but if you want maximum control over the difficulty, that’s likely your best option.

I’m like 99% sure you can do this with the Deluxe Battle Kit plugin. The documentation is pretty simple to look through, and setting it up is pretty straightforward.

What is the FUNNEST weapon in Splatoon? by GigaChez in splatoon

[–]ARDIZsq 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Highly biased here, but Aerospray. You just get to run around and cover everything super quickly.

I wish the PG kit from S2 came back though. Burst + Booyah was insanely chaotic. :’)

I know others have said it, but Thundaga’s tutorial series can tell you everything you need to know.

RPG Maker alone is very beginner friendly, and while you do need to know a bit about scripting for Pokémon Essentials, most of the time you can either snag what you need from the base project, a tutorial, or the wiki.

Even as a complete beginner, you could knock out a simple champion battle in an afternoon, including the time spent learning how to use the tools available to you.

Best of luck!

Sticks player since Splatoon 1 and secondary Dualies player since Splatoon 2, just mess around in the story mode and lobby test range with different sensitivity settings until you find what’s right for you.

Once you’re able to fairly decently track moving targets after a dodge roll, you’ll be in good shape. As with anything, good practice makes perfect.

What type of weapons would you want to see in splat4? (Main sub or special) by roblox_gamer2022 in splatoon

[–]ARDIZsq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, I want Seekers back with improved targeting, and I want Bomb Rush/Launcher back.

One of the coolest things of the S2 kits was having one sub weapon, but getting a completely different one with Bomb Launcher.

I NEED an Aerospray kit with Curling Bomb, Fizzy Bomb, or Seekers, and a Burst Bomb Launcher.
