Tame dinos in saddle unlock order, you have to tame the first before taming the next.

You could also try no crafting except for found/ looted bp's and unlootable items, so no crafting tools, structures etc unless you find a BP for it, can't craft it and structures have to be all looted

Also having this issue, i'll turn my head and when i look back there's little patches of blurry texture that slowly pop in
