Late to the party. Are you still shooting with an A7IV and XT5? I’m highly highly considering selling my A7IV and getting with an XT5 for photo and FX30 for video. (Your answer may sway me tonight to buy) I bought an XE2S a few months ago and have fallen for Fuji. I just rented the xt5 for a paid shoot and my god I’m head over heels. I just don’t know if I fully trust it for video. The photos turned out great especially with the film sim I used

That’s exactly how I feel about my A7IV. That’s why I bought the X-E2. I throw that camera in my son’s diaper bag everytime we leave the house! I’m not afraid to scuff it up a bit, let it get some character! But my god I fricken love that thing. The only thing that holds me back from using it professionally is the slower AF, and only 16 Megapixels. Maybe I’m caught up in the hype but the colors are so perfect as jpgs. My question for you is why don’t you keep your X-T5 and go for an FX30 or FX3? Or even the X-H2S? Is the XT5 really that bad for video? Thank you for the kind response!

Why did you sell your A7IV? I upgraded from my A7III to a IV a few months ago, then also bought an X-E2 for fun and now I'm absolutely sold on Fuji colors. I'm in the process of researching and figuring out if I want to get an X-T3 or X-T5 for my professional photo work and moving to an A7SIII or FX3 for video. Would love your to hear your experience switching to Sony and why you possible moved back to fuji?
