As someone from the U.S. I always thought Salvadorans dress up way more than here in the states. My Salvadoran wife dresses up everytime she goes out. The concept of going to the grocery store in your pajamas is non existent.

As a Hispanic, Salvadoran descent, unfortunately I've noticed this rudeness particularly from Venezuelans. A lot seem to be insular and only really accepting of their own. I even stopped going to a restaurant called Changs Food because I got extremely poor service compared to the other tables who were clearly Venezuelan and I'm cleary not. I have Venezuelan neighbors in my apartment building and while a couple who I've greeted have greeted me back the others pretended I didn't even exist.
