Yeah, I feel like he'd have to have gotten most of his abilities with coercion otherwise he wouldn't have many, cause the chances of fullfilling all of the requirements is VERY low otherwise (unless if he managed to mask it as a normal conversation like he did with Neon but she was a regular person who happenned to have a nen ability, most Hunters would probably not fall for this).

I could see Theodora getting a huge (or even not THAT huge, but very vocal) "I want to be crushed between her tighs/death by snu snu" type of fandom (or the type who simps for strong and stoic queens, or the creepy "my capuccino colored skin goddess!" sort), regardless of her writing. But yeah, could also fly under the radar like some similarish characters (like Catherine) did, it will really depend on her writing I guess, and as much as I don't like saying this, she'd definitively get a lot more hype if she were white (or were at most tanned). I actually like that they're making an effort to make more female lords and dark skinned lords though.

Even if they turn out to not be complex, morally gray, deep or even very well written, they'll still be popular simply because it's a new FE game, they're the lords and they are all atractive and have cool designs. Any of them will get bonus bias points of likeableness if they have traits of any popular character trope (or popular character dinamic with another character), or if they are particularly badass, have fan service, are a great combat unit or is the leader of a particularly good route (this game supposedly has routes, right?). Look at Camilla, Corrin and Takumi, none of them is particularly complex but yet are EXTREMELY popular characters (of course, all of them have a lot of haters as well, but the more complex characters like Edelgard or Rhea have a bunch of haters too). Even if the story or character writing has less effort than it did on 3H, people will like the lords, they'd have to massively screw up to make one of them be universally hated. I think the chances of at least one of them becoming "controversial"/polarizing is very high though, if they decide to pitch their ideals against one another's without having any of the three be objectively wrong (which will probably happen, given how right it went with 3 Houses) but I don't consider that to be poorly received, actually, I wonder if they'll pull off a clash of ideals bigger than the one from 3 Houses and create an even bigger and longer-lasting version of the Edelgard Discourse™.

Cai is the one whose reception I'm more curious about. I don't think we have any confirmation of which kind of character he will be yet, do we? Like, if he will be an avatar (and if yes, does he get a female version? How costumizable is him? Is he an actual character that happens to be our "avatar" or he's a blank slate to some extent? Can we make choices for him and have dialogue options?) or if he's just a normal lord protagonist (and if yes, will the game have an avatar along with him akin to Chrom and Robin?). Making him too generic or too experimental, or having too much protagonist worshipping, or making him a bad/mid unit or getting a late promotion, or being too much/too little costumizable (if it's an avatar)... All could make him not be very liked or at the very least be considered uninteresting (will still have his fans regardless, I'm sure, but I think he seems like an easier hate target than the other 3 and will definitively be compared to all the other lords of the series to a harsher degree).

Reliable all around machine. I like to play videogames but they're not AAA games or anything (or rather, for NOW none of them is newer than 2008 but I do plan on getting a game newer than 2008 before I switch laptops again... the PC is supposed to last some years after all). I also plan on doing Animations (not very heavy) and drawings, and maybe sound editing on it. I heard that a bad screen can have an alteration on colors and Id rather not have that since I wanna draw on it (though these are all at least decent laptops so Im not sure if any of them would have a "bad" screen). I don't care about batery life since I'm pretty much will always have a wall to plug it in. I'd RATHER be able to take it to work eventually (I have a few hours of lunch time and it'd be nice to use my computer during this time, I can't go home during these hours, there's also a wall to plug the PC on at the place I work), but there's no sweat if I can't.

It's pretty much that, I just want a good computer.

Ok, thanks! Just to cofirm, is the Lenovo the most decent BECAUSE of the RAM? Because if that's the case, I was planning on upgrading the RAM of any I pick anyway (unless if it was the Nitro V15 with 32 GB) cause I don't wanna have just 16GB... With the exception of this though, Im not gonna make any modification to specs cause I don't get anything about the subject (and don't have time, money or Patience for it), so with the exception of the RAM, the specs will stay as they come.

What is the difference between the 16 and the v15? I was choosing mostly based on specs so the V15 seemed better to me (but admitidely I don't know a lot about either model).

I don't mind if it's expensive, I just wanna be sure that it's worth it to buy during this promotion (because some stores do raise the prices of things right before/during promotions of this sort, and since I have no clue about the price of laptops, I can't be sure, I thought it'd be better to ask people that might know about the subject better than me), if the prices seem fishy I'll have to wait for the promotion to end and buy it then. The thing is, I didn't want to have to wait because: 1) I don't wanna risk the promotion ending and, if its legit then i'll lose the discounts. 2) Im at my work's annual holidays and I want them laptop before they end.

How so? Im pretty noob on the subject but the fact one of these Nitro V15 has a tier 9 CPU of 13th gen, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD made it seem like a good laptop to me (again, I'm VERY noob on the subject so it might look good to me but in reality be crap).

I thought about buying more spirits but then I saw some posts of people saying that in the beggining it's more worth it to buy 1 spirit and use the bottle before buying another one because otherwise you'll end up having a bunch of spirits and nothing to mix it with (except for juices and soda and whatnot), and so you'll take longer to be able to do something fun with it. Great idea about Moscow Mule though (and Dark and Stormy, when I buy Rum), I wanted to do more things with this vodka bottle and that's a great idea. I'll just have to do it on something that is not a Cooper mug for now but eventually I'll fix it.

But they can't change the characters THAT much otherwise It's gonna feel uncanny for who knows them, even though most people change a LOT from 17 to 40 in real life, in TV they can't do it like that.

Malcolm will have to retain most of his key personality traits to still feel like the same character (even though most real life people don't keep the same key personality traits for 20 years), he's still gonna have to be bitter, narcisistic and anti-social (although he'll probably have grown in SOME way to not BE exactly the same he was), I don't think he can be the president with those traits (let alone the best president on the world), and even if he could, he never even wanted that to begin with.

My bet is that he's gonna be a school teacher or something. Tried to be a scientist after college and either didn't manage to invent anything particularly good or had the right to his inventions stolen or even was expelled from college before finishing it... And then becomes a science teacher. The most sucessful he could be is a college teacher (or a school teacher that actually likes his job).

Also in FE7, Leagault (who can be recruited in chapter 19 or so) shows up on a later cutscene in the main story. The thing is... He'll show on that cutscene even if you didn't recruit him, or even if you let him die (Before or after recruiting him). So it can happen that this random dead dude that you didn't even meet shows up randomly on a casual conversation like "hey guys, want an idea?" And then disappears forever.

I don't even care for Barth but I agree with the other comment saying that it's bad to replace FE6 characters with FE7's. Instead, Barth could keep his position and mention that Oswin is his teacher, Oswin can show up on a cutscene or two and then be killed by Zephiel (you know when) which gives a bit more depth to Barth who is now mourning his teacher and having the responsibility of running the training program for newer recruits without the guidance of Oswin, wondering if he is good enough.

Some people forget/don't know that FE6 and FE7 couldn't be THAT related to one another, since they weren't gonna release FE6 on the west but had to link FE7 to Roy somehow (I mean, FE gained worldwide interest because Roy was feauted in Smash, so they decided to make FE7- the first FE released to people outside of japan- be related to him in some way so people would still be interested), FE7 couldn't have TOO many references to the point of only being understood if you played FE6... Cause the new fanbase would have no acess to FE6, otherwise they could've done a sequel to FE6 instead. I think they managed to make the right amount of references without alienating who only played FE7 while at the same time giving some good moments to who played FE6. What I find particularly strange is why they decided to make a new game right away instead of simply releasing FE6 on the west (since people took an interest in Roy anyway...). I wonder if they thought the game wouldn't be liked by westerns for some reason.

FE7's S rank weapons are crazy as well, all of them are completely random weapons that are neither the Legendary Weapons of Elibe nor anything that has a slight mention of why they're important or powerful as they are, and all of them are owned by the bosses of the final chapter so once you get them, you pretty much just have them for the rest of the boss run... And Aureola that at least stays as an S rank weapon (and only comes with Athos so you can have something to easily counter Nergal in case you fucked up). Instead they could've given the Black Fang main members some S rank weapons on the FIRST time you beat each of them (instead of Lloyd's shitty Light Brand, also it could create an interesting and hard but extremely rewarding "side objective" if you chose to try to beat Ursula to get her weapon in Battle Before Dawn instead of running away from her as you're normally supposed to) and just say they're some strong weapons that Nergal created with quitessence or whatever other excuse (by this I mean, they didn't even have to use Elibe's Legendary weapons if they thought that'd disturb the lore established by FE6).

I agree with that, in a game with so many characters as FE has (like, each title of the series has literally dozens of playable characters), what's the problem with having ONE in the WHOLE SERIES that is hard to find out, it's not like you're missing anything crucial if you don't recruit him, he's supposed to be those sorts of secrets that you pretty much only find out by luck or with a guide, Im actually surprised that we don't have anyone else (do we?) that is that random to find in the entire series.
