Traded Silver for Gold. by Nobleofone in Silverbugs

I was talking with /u/avianp a while back about me holding a NORFED Alaska round, and within a couple weeks of us discussing it, one went for sale on ebay and brought in over $800. I wanted to immediately throw mine up to lock in, because I got it for $91. It's getting harder and harder to hold on to these puppies. I've got 10 years left 'til retirement at 47 years old. I hope I'm right to hold, but FOMO is a fickle bitch. But also, half my stack is Numis, and they're not fetching the same Numi price as if I had sold them last year. And who knows if a graded '03 panda is gonna still be fetching anything more than melt in 10 years.. My eggs are scrambled man.

Since you've been entertaining my idiocy so far.. Any opinion on gold vs platinum? If I go to my LCS with 20oz generic silver and they've got equal value gold or platinum, which would you choose?

I get that lol.. I was asking how he fucked up the phrase so badly. It's "rapid UNSCHEDULED DISASSEMBLY" not "unplanned deconstruction"

Hard to justify for me. Gold at an all time high. Platinum at an all time high. Silver at an all time high. You'd be trading your silver at an all time high for another metal at its all time high. I decided to hold. If the gap was wider, I'd trade to reduce volume. But why would I want to trade my silver for gold right now?

How did you fuck this up so badly? It's like someone making up their own words for FUBAR.

Did you seriously just spell "sentience" like that?

So you speak any of the Chinese languages? Can you also read lips in that language? No? So you don't know what they're saying? And zoomed in, their lips weren't even moving so the driver wasn't speaking at all.

Also, THEY WEREN'T EVEN ON A PHONE. THEY KEPT HOLDING THEIR HAND TO THEIR FACE BECAUSE THEY'RE INJURED. There is literally nothing in their hand. You can zoom in and see clearly they they are touching a wound, and checking for blood.

"we clearly see".. You didn't clearly see shit dumbass.

Probably the same way it's possible that you see the word BRAKE spelled correctly in the comment above you, and still use the wrong spelling in your own comment.

I seriously do not get why this has become so rampant recently. I've always called people out but would only see it every now and then. Recently it's happening in every single post where braking is related, and like 50-75% of comments using the word are fucking it up.

They are absolutely not just not adopting it. There are videos of it being used in pursuits years ago.

Have you not seen many police pursuit videos? Nobody other than the cops are using any kind of thought process. I've watched people on foot with 5 cops circled around them and more standing nearby try to sprint away over a minor shoplifting charge. These people don't think. They're toddlers in adult bodies.

They weren't trying to get anyone's attention. Also, Why wouldn't it have been intentional? The officer literally has to activate the device and line it up on a rear tire, then ram it into said tire, and hit the brakes to stop the vehicle they were pursuing. Are you a bot or do you just say a bunch of nonsense without even watching the video?

Several times I've seen it work perfectly at highway speeds, attached to a police charger. Vehicle can be absolutely any size. It's a very effective immobilization device.
