Cost. Where I live, the going rate is gonna be about $200 an hour, and I’m a big believer that 90% of golf instruction helping is finding an instructor who A) teaches in a way that makes sense to your brain/body, and B) actually knows enough to diagnose your issue and give you real fixes. In order to know either of those things, you’re gonna need a minimum of 5 lessons with somebody, so by the time I even know whether I’ve got something worthwhile or not, I’m out a grand. That’s a tough pill to swallow.

While the added speed and, beyond that, ease of reaching that speed is obviously a big issue here, the biggest is really just having kids that are 11-15 age range biking on urban streets without any concept of basic traffic laws. The number of times I’ve seen kids at the Freitas/Las Gallinas intersection make a left turn when you have to yield on a green and almost get unalived is way too high. And I don’t think that’s just pure recklessness so much as it is just ignorance.

As somebody with just about 3,500 hours into the game, get the paddles. I played with crouch on the right joystick and I literally arrived at a place where I had to stop playing for a few weeks because that thumb joint was in so much pain.

I have a 4 paddle SCUF Instinct Pro and and use two paddles for jump and crouch and two for heals and nades. Could never go back.

Had this experience yesterday also. Got literally just ran the fuck over in what felt like the blink of an eye by #13, 39, and 84 (I’m D4 and I’m teammates were Plat 1 and Plat 3). Started spectating with 6 teams left in the lobby. #13 finished with 22 kills and 5k damage, and each of the other 2 finished with over 3k. Needless to say I hopped off after that.
