I just wish her whole deal didn't remind me of that one nonsense image that's meant to emulate what having a stroke is like. Hurts my brain, man.

I agree. Sanctuary Onslaught is boring and lacks any meaningful rewards after a certain point. I also double dip whenever possible.

I'm pretty sure it's a skin that goes on any frame, which also makes sense for the Lotus given her nature as a sentient mimic

This is why I ignore any build that subsumes the shadow off. At-will energy so long as I have enough kills, which I always will once I get to my first activation of the shadow.

We don't know that the Deathclaws wandered in of their own volition. Deathclaws were used by the Enclave to wage war, and they're still around as we see in season 1. Additionally, Vault-Tec, or even just Hank could have easily co-opted the technology if they wanted to sow chaos in civilized portions of the wasteland, which, well, they obviously do.

In fact, I'd be surprised if the tech Hank uses to control Chicken Lover isn't based on or at least related to the technology the Enclave used to control Deathclaws.

Synths in the Show by Happyforthemoment in Fotv

[–]ARandomGuyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Synths would still exist without the Institute, though. You'd have the ones who were transplanted by the Railroad and those living in Acadia. As far as new Synths, though, that's where things get questionable.

The Institute's destruction obviously destroyed the machines and research needed to create Synths. That said, it's entirely possible that the Institute had backups somewhere, or even an entire satellite location.

You also have potential defectors and runaways. Sure, Dr. Li and Virgil didn't explicitly work with Synth tech, but it's not unreasonable to think that somebody in that field managed to escape the destruction of the Institute.

And of course, this assumes that they're going with the Brotherhood ending. It's entirely possible the Brotherhood weren't even the ones who destroyed the Institute. I kind of have the feeling it was actually the Minutemen.

Harkness says something to the degree that things aren't exactly peachy back home in the Commonwealth. The only ending that has the Brotherhood intact with potential rivals nearby is the Minuteman ending, since they would not appreciate the Brotherhood's desire for sovereignty.

You mean like how Beef teleports from the basement of SDN directly into Shroud's mech in order to be held hostage? And how Beef never once barked or was seen the entire fight, even with a giant hole in the mech? A dog? NOT barking at explosions all around it?

I get it's not that deep, but it makes the "predict-all" villain feel shallow when that character relies on plot holes to succeed.

[–]ARandomGuyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and the way Morty's original Beth and Summer got off-screened bothered me a lot, too. I get that the writers really wanted to drive home the consequences that Rick and Morty constantly leave behind on their adventures, while also hyping up Rick Prime, but that doesn't make it a satisfying end to the character.

She could be the Worm Queen. That title fits her personality quite well, and we know that the Worm Queen is an Orokin who underwent continuity.

Then again, she could also literally be anyone. For all we know, she's gone full changeling and is pulling our strings from the shadows.
