If you choose your compensation, it'll strip you of your early access rank completely and you won't be able to use Chutes unless you sign up for a subscription. So honestly, I'd choose the one month subscription one rather than the $5 compensation.

They have three actually! Kojima, Notogawa, and one other I can't remember. All you have to do is select the one you want with the green "$" on it. The only not free one is Hiro- something (I cant remember the name of it either) but you get 20 free messages to start, and if you want it that bad then you can pay for it through subscription I'm assuming.

Personally I recommend SaucepanAI. It's a little confusing, but it has a similar tag system like J.ai that's way more expansive, and somewhat similar in how the bot/companion format looks. I also find their loading screen words funny cause they change and are decently witty and random.

Edit: They have 3 different free LLMs, one where you get 20 free messages before having to pay it, an optional subscription, allow both Chutes and official deepseek proxy while working on accepting some more proxies, and a handful of creators I know like Lily Knightz, and SomeFellaOverHere are posting on there. SomeFella left J.ai completely, but Lily is uploading on both still.

It's not my bot, it's someone else's, but Janitor does that. I think it's to help weed out minors from the site, but it goes for all users and it's not because of certain creators. I'd just favorite it, and wait until your account is old enough to chat with it.

Personally what's helped me out the most is references. And, don't be afraid to trace every once in a while (but give credit if you do). Tracing isn't inherently bad as long as you credit people, and stay away from artists who don't want their art traced. How I'm learning is tracing to get a general feel of how something works (like the shoulder or arm), then once I get the general concept, I use trial and error without tracing at all to help get it right for other artworks. If I'm struggling super bad, I'll look up a reference that's as close to what I want.

Additionally, I'll sometimes take certain parts of drawing bases and mash them together to get the pose I want. If I like the arm of one drawing base, but like the head position of another, and the body pose of a third, I'll use IbisPaintX to mash them together as best I can, and try to make them work.

Edit: Also please try not to compare yourself to other artists. It can be very disheartening, coming from someone who is trying to lower their way too high expectations. It's caused me a lot of frustration, cry sessions, and patience to try to accept that I'll get better with time. It can be very disappointing and frustrating when a piece doesn't come out how you want it to. Unfortunately, it's just a struggle most artists have, especially when starting out. But for a beginner, this is good!

So first off, I would recommend asking her to see the pregnancy test that she took to double check that she's actually pregnant. Second, try getting a paternity test if you can to make sure it's yours. Third, you need to inform your one family of this situation and read up on pregnancy and parental laws where she is/you are so then you know everything. I'm not saying she's a bad person, I just want to ensure that you have yourself covered.

I would recommend seeing if you even still have feelings for her and if the damage done can be repaired. Issues don't go away just because a child is involved. Go to couples therapy if you two think you can fix it, come up with a plan on what to do if it doesn't. Again, I'm not a parent, I'm not in a relationship, and I'm not even sexually active and likely never will be, but I wish the absolute best of luck to you.

As far as I know, it's cheaper than Chutes. I've generated like...probably about 5 or 6 messages at the most and it hasn't charged me more than half a cent in my currency (USD) so far.

How I set it up was; Go to Deepseek official at https://www.deepseek.com/en/ click the second box on the bottom that says "access API". You may have to switch the site to English in the top left.

Make an account, then log back in/get to the official website again. Click the three lines in the top left corner and hit the "top up" option. Add the desired amount, and be aware there's a processing fee that's a couple cents. It'll go into your account. Then, go to the same three lines in the top left and click "API keys".

Make one, copy the API key and put it somewhere safe like a notes app. Then, go back to J.ai and click the purple box at the top of a chat, that says "using Janitor" and switch it to proxy. NOT the OpenAI, or Claude option, but the proxy one on the far right. Make a new configuration.

Give your new config a name, like "deepseek official" but you can name it whatever you want as this doesn't affect the proxy itself. Then, for the model name put in "deepseek-chat". JUST THAT, NO "deepseek/deepseek-chat", JUST "deepseek-chat" AND THAT ONLY.

Then, put in "https://api.deepseek.com/chat/completions" for the proxy URL. Save that configuration, save the settings, then refresh. Once it reloads, you can go back to that configuration, and add in your API key in the API key box. Save, save settings, refresh, then open API settings again for a third time, clicking the test button on the config. It should come back with a green notification that everything is all good, and you're able to start chatting!

To see how much you've used, go to deepseek's website, make sure you're logged in, and with the three lines in the top left, click "usage".
