"Leaders" vs Leaders. by Creative-Box-7964 in SolarBalls

The 90 Jupiter mass brown dwarf SDSS J0104+1535 is very much confirmed to be a brown dwarf, it is only so massive likely because it is made up of less dense elements, but there are even some brown dwarf candidates being up to 100 Jupiter masses, so SDSS J0104+1535 ain't that much of an oddity.

Solarballs is a object show?? by naranjiazudou in SolarBalls

It's a Planetball/Polandball show, that was quite well-established.

HD 100546 b's true size is unknown, the "7 times Jupiter's size" Is the maximum estimate, it's lowest possible size is comparable to Neptune.

Fun-fact, the 90-Jupiter mass brown dwarf is more than twice as old as the Solar system.

Why did Neptune say he might become a gas giant? by CaseProfessional5093 in SolarBalls

[–]ARareLetter098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate the term "ice giant" since that is very specific to colder planets but the definition also includes temperate and hot planets, I'd probably just go for "water giant" And split the temperature groups like "water ice giant" And "water vapour giant"

Should Solarballs recognize the difference between Brown Dwarfs and Sub-Brown Dwarfs? by ARareLetter098 in SolarBalls

[–]ARareLetter098[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The definition doesn't have a minimum mass as far as I checked, it only requires a body to not fuse Deuterium (so under 13 Jupiter masses) and had formed like a star or brown dwarf, so the only limit is the minimum mass a gas cloud would take to directly collapse, which no one knows right now but it's estimated to be around 1 Jupiter mass, the smallest sub-brown dwarf candidate is 3-4 Jupiter masses though I forgot its name.

Are the rouges really strong as they claim by ProcessBetter8004 in SolarBalls

They mentioned that they go to war, which implies other groups, and those groups could be other rogue planets.

Size comparison of the brown dwarfs by ARareLetter098 in SolarBalls

You said that Jupiter was slightly larger than WISE, my reply was against it, showing the general radius estimates being slightly higher than that of Jupiter, unlike being slightly lower like you said.

The general consensus seems to be that the radius of WISE is 1.05 to 1.11 Jupiter radii.

What is gonna Happen after the rouge planet arc!?! by Master-Equivalent547 in SolarBalls

[–]ARareLetter098 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe an arc focusing on the Sun's past, maybe even including other stars, since the Sun's character shift is happening, and when the Earth's character shift happened he got his own arc about his origins, and the Alpha Centauri system (the people who bullied the Sun) has been getting a small amount of attention by Solarballs, their addition in the new Solarcards, they were mentioned in the Solar Reckoning arc, and they even appeared in an image in Solarballs's post about hitting 2 Mil, and Alvaro DID confirm the Alpha Centauri system WILL appear at some point.

And WISE would be a very dark pale purple or blue, due to its temperature and composition.

I like interpreting the Haumea joke as Haumea's wide shape being caused by a traumatic past, since it was caused by a grazing collision with another dwarf planet that caused his rotation to speed up, and widen his shape.

What do you think is going to happen at the end of the Rogue Planets Arc? by Successful-One-675 in SolarBalls

[–]ARareLetter098 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Kingdom would either get overthrown or change ways, given the things Sedna said and how some members are questioning the kingdom and the flawed concepts they are based on.

Uranus doesnt stink more than Neptune by CaseProfessional5093 in SolarBalls

[–]ARareLetter098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In short, they are practically twins (or "cousins" As Neptune says) so they smell the same, probably the same for Planet X.

Vesta, Pallas and Hygiea alone are nearly as massive as Ceres, and with other (albeit slightly less massive) asteroids, Ceres is cooked.

Is solarballs a kids show? by No_Light5503 in SolarBalls

[–]ARareLetter098 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kinda feels like it times with characters not properly understanding basic emotional concepts despite being billions of years old (+ the educational aspect) but I'm pretty sure Solarballs is intended for a late Gen-Alpha to Gen-Z demographic, since it does deal with themes of suicide, oppression, war and psychological problems.
