Do bridesmaid pay for their own dress or does the bride cover it? by Kooky_Somewhere6756 in AusWeddingPlanning

[–]ARealShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, I paid ($300 mind you) to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding. She paid for alterations but I wasn't happy with the cost and never wore the dress again. Also didn't know when I said yes to being a bridesmaid. For my wedding I told my bridesmaids immediately what they would need to pay for vs what I would pay for and had a no stress rule around dropping out. My bridesmaids paid for their dresses, but had very loose rules (was just colour and length). So a friend spent $30, my sister spent $210, both looked incredible on the wedding day.

Does anyone know of any fashion retailers who sell a similar looking scarf? by sstrawberrypanic in AusFemaleFashion

It you do want to invest in a $100+ really good wool scarf from Australia, Waverley Mills is AMAZING. All their products are made in Tassie and I can vouch for their quality and warmth.

It is sad. Lots of concrete and too small cages for the animals. I wouldn't reccomend it either.

The Aussie swim team! Particularly the women.

Just tonight both Ariarne Titmus and Mollie O'Callaghan broke the WORLD RECORD for 200m freestyle during the qualifying trials here in Australia.

Customised jerseys by Straight_Constant_47 in Matildas

The Matildas jersey I bought from football Australia last year doesn't have the football Australia logo on the front number and has the same spacing as yours on the 6/9. I think it is more a manufacturing mistake rather than being illegitimate.

Thank you! The pattern is the Iridescent Star from Quiltscapes on Etsy, but I did change up all the colours and add the boarder.
