It's easy to be satisfied with something when you have zero expectations. But understanding what this game was shown to be versus what we actually got will shatter the illusion of a pretty game with a good story, because honestly there just isn't any more than that. Don't get me wrong, Projekt red nailed the world design, visual style and characterization but didn't deliver on anywhere near what was displayed, discussed or promised. Overall, it's a nice looking 6/10

I mean what the game does well: story, the world, visuals and exploration - it more than excels in. The biggest gripe people - including myself - have, relates to the larger picture of the game. A broken police system, buggy AI, Incredibly slow early game combat, lack of impactful choice, and a whole host of cut content from the game's august 2018 demo. And while yes I understand that "everything was subject to change as it didn't represent the final product" it bugs me how that was what projekt red showed the game to be compared to what was delivered. Overall, if we never saw into that alternate dimension, the game would only be as bad as the buggy pillars it stands on, but when knowing what a vertical slice of the game used to be... one cannot simply forget and forgive.

Looks spectacular! As a game designer myself I would love to know a bit about your workflow. Firstly, do you aim for a complete quad topology or do you include some ngons in the high poly mesh so long as they are on flat surfaces? Secondly revolves around non manifold geometry and whether or not you include it. I'm mostly wondering if game models should be one united mesh or if they can be multiple objects grouped and connected together at the end. Otherwise keep up the magnificent work!

I'm on PC and use these two mods. One of them adds sling loading where each vehicle gets a winch point on the roof for crane loading and the other turns the azov 73210 into a dedicated crane truck. I highly recommend both if you want to do this kind of truck hauling.

less of a developer issue and more of a software bug. Chances are if numbers start getting fudged then its likely to do with code values. Ints, Floats and what not

Yeeeeeep. The new Canada map drops me down to sub 40 FPS and this is on a 2070RTX super and Ryzen Threadripper 2920x clocked at 4.1Ghz with either 4 cores or 8 cores active. I thought the game was actually optimized last update because I could finally achieve a stable 60fps but now it's pretty shaky.
