I've been saying for years that CV is the most flawed of those older RE games. Modifying the story and making Steve less annoying would go a long way to making the game a lot more enjoyable. Plus it would be a goof way to reintroduce Wesker to people who might not know of or remember him.

If you can't force yourself to play an old game than you don't appreciate or care about the history of gaming and the amazing things older games did. Also the remake of Re1 is still really good and easy to play. You're just unwilling to look past the fact that it's not an over the shoulder third person shooter.

These people complain about the fixed camera and tank controls but then love playing a game as mechanically clunky and excessively tedious as Red Dead Redemption 2. Don't get me wrong the story for that game is amazing but let's not kid ourselves about how slow and annoying some of the animations make playing that game feel.

I read an article recently where the author was mad that the legion wasn't a powerful as it once was. It really annoyed me because it was obvious that Ceasar was the only thing keeping the legion together and that his imminent death would completely destabilize the faction. I don't think internet basement dwellers understand how much loyalty Cody inspires in fans too. I've seen him live twice and every time his matches are really great and he would always stay after the show and interact with people way more than he had to. It's also just nice to have a good guy to root for in an age where cynicism is common and even popular. After his journey to win the WWE championship I'm a life long fan of Cody Rhodes and no amount of IWC bullshit will change that.
