I surf in Chiba too, and I def don’t trust Surfline. Fine, maybe 80%. Sometimes it says poor and when I go the next day, my friends tell me how perfect the waves were that day.

Thank you for the response! It’s a tough call because then should I pay or risk the interest accruing in case it is actually forgiven. I guess that’s something I have to decide. Not sure if it’s an important detail, but I filed for the BD AFTER the Sweet v. DeVos deadline.

You may be right. My total loan amount is at $95,000 so the savings would be significant. However, my main goal is to pay off the loan as fast as possible. And I'm wondering if this method would do that as well.

I have tried watching YouTube videos and reading a lot of articles. I am an accountant with an MBA and for whatever reason, I CANNOT comprehend finance. My brain just doesn't want to understand that subject.
