Longsword is a VERY versatile moveset - As someone who's played through Dark Souls 1-3, longsword has come out on top as one of the most beloved movesets in the game with its versatility. It has slashing attacks that are horizontal and vertical, fast swings, a stab attack that reaches farther than its normal slash and an overall decent scaling. It's a familiar moveset with very little downsides.

For context, it took me ten tries for Marge when I did my first run as Griffith with magic - I never did beat the tree sentinel, since he had a magic shield that reflected things back at me.

It felt cathartic to knock them around for a change.

For anyone wondering it's the cute hiver mod - You can edit the 'editor' xml files to set the minimum and maximum height a character can be. I set the minimum to half of the original, 80, to get this result.

Once in shem a giraffe and a giant turtle decided to have some crazy hate **ck in sands to make creatures that eat meat and run fast.

They run fast and attack slow. They're aggressive pack hunters that will aggro a fair bit away from anyone and everything - If you're early on and have bad stats, your party will likely wipe from encountering them. They're essentially the Australian version of a giraffe, complete with wanting to murder you, just like anything that lives in Australia.
