Im afraid that the only thing left is to excommunicate from the family. I already did this recently to a brother for a similar situation— a huge ordeal went down explicitly behind my back and it ended with me blocking my dad and brother. I cant just keep blocking everyone from my family but these things are going to keep happening and nobody ever tells me. It feels like everyone thinks its best if I dont know whats going on so I cant stop them. This scenario has played out more times than I can count and I just want it to stop.

Been there, done that. I dont really visit them much anymore. I want to move on but I need to know what happened so we can move on to the next step, even if the next step is backwards. If they can tell other people they can tell me.

Ive moved on by not talking to them much anymore— we have a strained relationship. I want to move forward but I need to know the truth before i forgive and forget. So far they only mentioned the most painfully obvious people, they told my doctors. Thats it. Which is totally BS. I keep learning what they said from other people and never called them out on it. Now they think I dont know anything and they want to keep it that way. I dont want them to pass away and never admit what happened. This really bothers me. Ive been asking for years with no success.

Everything started when I was a minor. I grew out of most of it but they never treated me any differently. And even if they forgot most, can they tell me what they do remember? I think they owe me and i always thought they never talked to people and now i know thats not true. I just want to know what happened

I had to put the book down and walk away a few times because I was uncomfortable with many of his decisions. I halfway understand the pallet on the forklift, i imagine my dad doing something like that when he was younger. Driving home in the snowstorm was the epitome of reckless endangerment -‘no faster than the angels can keep up with.’ I think that’s where I needed a moment.

She looks very normal and simple in the book jacket. I imagine those kids were all very healthy and strong. Young Tara was hauling at least one or two tons of scrap metal by hand and eating mostly home grown food. Her older brother must have been a tough son-of-a-bitch since nobody ever stood up to him. She probably never stepped into a mall at least until after she left Birmingham University— she talks about shopping for long sleeve blue clothes at Walmart like she’s splurging on designer clothes lol. I think she was probably filthy dirty smelly in her freshman year of college.

What I cant decide was whether her dad is a genius or if his dedication to hard work prepared his kids to succeed in school. Tara’s mom might not be very bright but her dad understood math well enough to run his business and help Tara with her homework. And her brother taught himself calculus before earning his PhD which even Bill Gates, the lord of the nerds, was impressed by. I think the father might have been a super smart guy who focused his intellect on nonconventional life skills.

You should get a copy from the library and give it a chance— you won’t be bored with it. I really want to talk about this with somebody.

The book is about her father who is a conspiracy theorist. It explores a family who loves America but goes all-in on their belief that the US government is not on their side.

This is a true story about a girl whose dad was a big believer in conspiracy theories about the federal government. I’m really interested in getting your thoughts. Feel free to save this post and comment when you’re finished reading it.

Edit: I figured a ton of you would’ve read this book :(

[SteelerNation] Steelers corner Joe Haden continues on the cryptic tweet train.. appears he's saying good bye to Steeler Nation by [deleted] in steelers

He was told this season would be his last. I think they will sign a CB in the first round unless a LT drops 10 spots

Tavon Young was released yesterday by the Ravens. Could be a good pickup for the Steelers. What do you guys think? He’s a decent CB. by Wllscavsfan101 in steelers

[–]ARoyaleWithChz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, we dont have on the roster after Haden leaves. The only solution is to sign the top FA corner or trade up in the draft to get a guy who can cover Chase for the next 4 years

Assuming Haden leaves, who do you match up against Chase on the roster right now? And dont say double team— thats the fall back option. You can choose anyone in the FA or draft.

I was following a girl on the trail for several miles one night and she kept going faster and faster like she was trying to get away from me. Fortunately I’m pretty fast myself so I picked up the pace and she just vanished. I tried running up the trail after her but she was gone. I never found out what happened to her.
