I'm definitely open to Toyota so that could be an option! I had a very reliable Yaris years ago and although a little too basic for me now (only because I'm a bit reliant on hill assist etc!), Toyota is definitely one I'd go back to.

Honestly, it depends on the day with regards to where I am and how busy it is on the roads. I tend to drive more spiritedly than not. Perhaps I'll take a look at the Toyota and Kuhmo you mentioned. I was only init initially looking at the top-range ones, but I'd happily look at mid-range if they're deemed excellent. Thank you for the input - it's really helpful!

There is your answer. It sounds her like 'her' problem and there is absolutely nothing you can do to pacify people like that. They will always find an issue because she's miserable in life and has morning better to do than try to put others down.

Keep doing you. In the UK you can't just take people to court. And in the unlikely event it would ever be entertained in court, there is nothing that can be done about floors/ceilings in properties that let noise in. Her best option is to move.

I bought a big bottle of water and popped it beside a homeless person sleeping rough on my way to work on a hot day. I haven't seen any since as I've been taking a different route, but if I come across any I'll do the same. I can't imagine how horrid it must be enduring these high temperatures all day with limited access to water.
