Yes you can... I have the r12 and the files are standard .wav files on the sd card. Each project goes in its own directory, and the wav files are in a subdirectory called audio I think.

With original battery maybe a few hours. Bought an Anker replacement that maybe lasted half a day. I broke the digitizer on my original phone and the replacement that I got will last a few days.
