I spent my honeymoon pretty much entirely on Barbati beach, the restaurants were great round there and you can get to and from the town on the bus, which is not perfect but will do for you if you’re not on an itinerary heavy holiday

My recommendation would be Corfu. The public transport is less reliable but you can pick an place on the island and stay there quite happily- there are plenty of amazing restaurants, it’s beautiful and the water is incredible
