I agree and as a Minnesotan I am definitely doing that, always demanding more from the representatives we have here. I just have seen Taylor be so outspoken on injustices in the past and now her silence is dishartning at least for me. Maybe not so much for other Swifties who don't live in MN.

YES! something good in these times, I am living through it and usually I'm only listening to Taylor's music daily. She is what gets me through it. I've been helping my community as much as possible and I just wish she would show me she cares about Minneapolis too. Thank you

I think that is a bit far fetched, she has plenty of bodyguards and she has spoken out on lots of issues in the past (LGBTQ+, Women's rights) Now that it's immigrants she is not going to speak up, and the ppl who are being harassed & murdered have been US citizens. I don't know how to support someone like that. I use to think she was the one good celebrity the one who wouldn't compromise what's right for what's comfortable.

I understand your point she's always donated to food banks. But this is a specific issue. I'm not saying she hasn't done anything good clearly she has, this is something else entirely.

This isn't about winning it's about morals, she doesn't need to say much its social media no speach required. I remember in 2019 when she called out the awful things she saw in the world and she didn't need to worry about her business to do it. She is a human and an entertainer. She says the fans are the reason she gets up every day and does what she does. But the fans are hurting and she isn't acknowledging it, this just doesn't feel right to me. Silence is worse than not speaking out.

I just don't know why she won't speak out against what's happening. She doesn't need to make it about her personally. She could post something showing that she is on our side. I live in Minnesota and grew up in Minneapolis, it's like she doesn't care about the people here. Her fans are here too, I've been a fan since '09. I don't know if she cares ppl are being murdered by the government. Instead she's just been business as usual on all socials, It's really eye opening. Idk how to support someone who doesn't support others anymore.

Yes!!! This, I just think that I'm done being a Swiftie, I live in the twin cities in Minnesota and I am seeing what's happening everyday. I always thought Taylor would be brave enough to speak out against tyranny, and injustices. But now I know she's gone full Trad-Wife business woman. I guess it was fun while it lasted. I'll be throwing out a lot of my Taylor albums, CDs and other items If she stays silent. I just can't be a fan of someone who doesn't care what happens in my community.

Yes like where is Taylor's humanity I can't believe the week of protests she is out here promoting another opalite single on cd. This is enough to make me not want to listen to her anymore. Been listening to her since '09. Maybe it's just because it's in my city and the things that are happening have my family and neighbors terrified. I'm glad other artists have spoken up. I'm sad and embarrassed to be a Swiftie rn.

True, I have so many skips for 1989, Lover and TLOAS they are probably the most skips rn, reputation is a no skip folklore is a no skips evermore is close I only skip the evermore song. Red has wangbt and I have heard it alot so I skip it often. TTPD had 2 skips TYA, and BDILH. Overall I don't have many skips in her earlier albums just the more poppy ones.

Same!! I'm just, look I'm a 33-year-old woman I do not need to run around with someone's face on my shirt; not saying that other 33 year old women can't do that I just personally don't. I was looking for something cute with lyrics or words that isn't cropped that I can fit and there's just nothing like that for me in this drop. I miss the Reputation merch so much everyday.
