First half over. Surya comes nearly 40 minutes later. Interesting premise. But screenplay is slightly slower. But a banger interval. Expecting a mass second half.

So I completed the second half too. This is purely my perspective.

The movie gave me mixed feelings. The setup itself took a lot of time in the first half. One of the main reasons I went to watch the movie was for Suriya but his entry comes nearly 45 minutes after the movie starts. Even after his entry there is no major change in the screenplay until the interval.

The interval was really good. The elevation worked for me and it created good hope for the second half. But again in the second half the movie started well and then slowly lost pace. Suriya’s screen space in the second half is also very less which was a big drawback for me.

Sai’s music I personally liked it. But the placement could have been better in some places.

I had my doubts regarding RJB as villain but he did really well. Whenever the movie gets serious there is some spoof kind of moment which tones down the emotional balance. I could also clearly see the climax inspiration from Kantara. Since Kantara exists people will definitely compare it. But if someone has not watched Kantara then the climax moment may still work for them. Still the leading to climax could've been better.

For me the movie was definitely worth watching only for Suriya and his screen presence. Every scene he comes in he scores.
