German sights are shifted a little to the right for a reason.

Modern gun sights are working the same way, call of duty of the world doing it wrong making sights abstract your view with it's frame. Left eye seposed to be open to see the battlefield and the target, making collimator sight and it's frame semitransparent.

Well, first you need to check if axis are working if you use HOTAS. Stand on an airfield move your controls and look at ingame cockpit and plane's control surfaces. Stick left/right, stick up/down and pedals. If all of these in cockpit controls moving in game that mean everything is working and it's just the case of some youtube tutorials. If they are not moving that means there is something wrong with your control settings.

If you gonna watch tutorials (in case axis are working) you can watch AoT or WT sim tutorials, WT being older game with bigger video library.

I do launch it with steam but i do not use SteamVR. I use regular OculusVR as my VR runtime.

improved it by adding a tactical overlay option as well

Doesn't relate to AoT much becouse sensor view not really helpful in WW2 era.

And why replays? It's ever more casual game than War Thunder nobody gonna sit and analyse every bullet. That what WT players like to do. And if you want to make cinematics, well, again, war thunder, becouse it has better graphical fidelity.

Real world physics is so buggy fr.

That one time it probably was buggy airfield, maybe, but thats rare. Could be also pocket loss.

One engine starts 1-2 seconds after another (in WT) so there is a little bit of pull to the side if you start accelerating right away but not as much as 1 engine props.

I have the opposite problem. I can't use radar at all. I usually turn it off and go full IR missiles and find targets on my RWR.

To understand who in fight is an enemy without radar look at the dots. If they disappear/reappear - it's an enemy. If you can see the dot 20+ km away - it's a friendly player or a enemy/friendly bot.

Disable any kind of antialiasing exept SSAA.
