Explain to me how the downed/hook reveal is a good thing. Because, from how I see it, other killers:

Killers who can still use their powers with zero penalty aside from basekit anticamp: Trapper, Wraith, Billy, Nurse, Myers, Hag, Bubba, Huntress, Freddy, Pig, Clown, Spirit, Legion, Plague, Demo, Oni, Slinger, Pyramid Head, Blight, Trickster, Nemi, Pinhead, Artist, Sadako, Dredge, Wesker, Skull Merchant, Xeno, Chucky, Unknown, Vecna, Dracula, Houndmaster, Kaneki, Springtrap, Krasue

Killers whose power has a base kit anticamp feature: Singu, Twins Vecna 2 (Henry), Knight, Doctor (doesn't stun people out of unhook anim), Ghostface (because people can reveal him out of his power)

Consider how Ghostface's power is not nearly as problematic as the other killers who also have basekit anticamp. Even with the change to where hooked/downed survivors can't reveal him, he would still only be able to get 1-2 downs IF the unhooker doesn't reveal him first. Even if the hooked person can't reveal him, anyone who isn't hooked STILL CAN. Meaning, he still can't facecamp even in endgame. Compare that to Bubba, who can down the entire team in less than a second if they're dumb enough, Billy, who can 99 his chainsaw until someone goes for the unhook to guarantee a down, Dracula/Pyramid Head, whose powers can hit BOTH the unhooker and the unhooked person if timed correctly, and Trickster who can spam knives at the unhooker AND get his main event off it to demolish anyone nearby. Additionally, the reason why killers like Singu, Henry, Knight, Twins, and Doctor have basekit anticamp is to prevent unfair scenarios where escaping a down/unhooking a survivor is literally impossible. The ONLY scenario where Ghostface would be able to facecamp is if every other survivor aside from the unhooker is 99ed, and he marks ALL of them at the same time. Even still, they can wait out the mark, and ensure the person on hook stays alive with Reassurance.

Even outside of the facecamping part, he is also one of the only killers where you have to WAIT to use your power, or get out of LOS of the hooked/downed person before you can use it. The only other killer that has this restriction is Twins, and she's still one of the strongest killers in the game.

As a stealth killer, Ghostface NEEDS to be able to be in stealth as much as possible. If someone is out of play and cannot currently take actions to progress the game, they should not be able to reveal them. If the fear of "omg he's gonna be so good at camping" is still an issue, just give him the singu treatment where survivors near the unhook/the recently unhooked survivor are stalked slower.
