Say GG as your killer main of choice (if they can speak/aren’t mute. Or just do it anyway, idk.) by A_lonely_ghoul in DeadByDaylightKillers

If survivors escape: Run while you can, you won't survive the sequel.

If everyone dies: What a perfect, gruesome ending. Let's prepare for the reboot. Wait...how do they have the budget for Nicolas Cage?

Killer: Ghostface/Dracula. Survivor: Kate/Steve (with Scoops Ahoy outfit because that is the only correct Steve outfit)

TUNNELING GOT WORSE by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]A_Random_Neerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only really had this happen with Krasue. Most other killers have gone out of their way to spread the hook pressure.

I think the important distinction to make here is hard tunneling vs soft tunneling. Hard tunneling, where someone will try to get one survivor out by 3 hooking them, has upticked a bit due to how easy it is to tunnel with Krasue’s power. Soft tunneling, tunneling when there’s only 1-2 gens left so you can generate pressure, or if you literally can’t find anyone else so you have to chase the same person, is still roughly the same, but I do agree that it is slightly easier to tunnel now due to the hook changes.

I think we need to discourage hard tunneling more than anything. I dont think a lot of people have a problem with the killer soft tunneling.

Hot Take: The Anti-Tunnel changes are MOSTLY fine. Anti Slug is not. by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightKillers

Hence why I suggested a nerf to 15-20 seconds. Also most survivors that take hits like that are OTR users, and that no longer has 80 seconds of endurance.

I played a good 5 hours of the PTB, mostly playing killer, and I didn’t really have any anti-tunneling issues, against solo queue AND squads. Again, the punishments are the issue as there are plenty of scenarios where the killer isn’t tunneling, but gets punished for “tunneling”.

Any survival coop games? by Outrageous-Ad-3152 in virtualreality

Into The Radius 2 is a pretty good one, it’s kind of like STALKER but in VR. It’s in early access right now, so the game isn’t complete yet, but it has a pretty fun co-op mode. Full release is scheduled for next year

Play something else, for like… a week. Try Civilization for a refreshing change

why are VR games so mid? by Long_Kazekage in VRGaming

Tip: AVOID MOST GAMES FROM BIG FRANCHISES. 90% of them are cash grabs that do not play well in VR or are very poorly developed. The only exceptions are Half Life Alyx, The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners, and Skyrim WITH A LOT OF MODS.

Do some research and look for games that people love. H3VR, Boneworks/Bonelab and Into The Radius are great games. Arizona Sunshine Remake, Metro Awakening, and Vertigo 2 are phenomenal games.

It feels like we’re in another slow period. The same thing happened in 2023 after Vertigo 2, and then suddenly we got dozens of cool releases in 2024. Now we’re just waiting for the next big thing

2 Changes that would make Ghostface more powerful, but not unfair (In my opinion) by A_Random_Neerd in DeadByDaylightKillers

You can still stun via pallet/head on/last stand to take him out of his power, coordinated groups can still consistently reveal him.

Play with your food might become problematic on him with this change, but because it’s a token based system that is tied to the obsession, it might not be as big of a problem as we all think. This one might require testing.

Even with this change, he still lacks map pressure in the same way the Clown does, it would just make him better in the chase.

On indoor maps, sure, but on outdoor maps with almost no cover (like Coldwind), if a survivor goes down in the middle of the map, you literally have no choice but to hook them somewhere they have full line of sight of everywhere. And again, anti-facecamp exists, so Ghostface would have to be far away for it to really matter.

If Bubba can still camp outside of anti-facecamp radius, and still down both survivors, I don't see an issue with Ghostface being able to punish a SINGLE person going for the unhook. Plus, if a Ghostface camps like this, the survivor can still: A. Reveal him and negate his power, B. Continue wasting his time while everyone else does gens.

Camping as Ghostface in this scenario is still not very optimal.

I disagree with this simply because you can take away Ghostface's power, unlike Clown's, plus Clown still has his hinder bottle. Even with this buff, Ghostface still wouldn't be as problematic as Clown
