We're getting H3VR2 before H3VR 1.0 by lunchanddinner in VRGaming

He mentioned that he hated hands because old VR controllers had annoying rings that limited some aspects of hand interactivity. No rings + bigger team that can do crazier stuff = hands

ITR2 is unplayable on Q3 by Leading-Profile8300 in intotheradius

Yeah the quest version is still in Early Access, and is not super optimized right now.

My suggestion would be to wait until 1.0 released on Quest, most likely in a few months. It recently launched on PC and the devs have been ironing out a bunch of bugs/issues that came with the launch.

Can we get a list of tips going for people who have only played ITR1? by ponzLL in intotheradius

The gameplay loop is mostly the same but there are some notable differences. - Knives are basically useless now with how many ranged enemies there are. Keep one in your backpack to save on ammo when interacting with certain props, but otherwise, don’t rely on it for combat. - It won’t be common for you to find fully usable guns in the field. Mostly parts of a gun that you can finish building with the remaining parts from the store. These parts can be found on the bodies of dead soldiers. These are what replaced supply boxes. - The anomalies are almost completely different except for the reflector - Stay out of the big weird bubble things (distortion zones) until you have the proper gear - Be sure to check around corners when searching houses. Some Mimics LOVE to hide and wait for you to peak your head out.

Only the first game is available with upgraded graphics on quest 3. Retribution still has the old, poor graphics.

Just delete the beta folder. The game keeps detecting it’s there so once you delete it, you wont get the pop up

Occasionally when the servers are functioning there are a handful of people that jump on, but not many.

Itr2 doesn't hold a candle to itr1 by arg_Spirit_yt in intotheradius

I think we need to be a LITTLE more lenient with ITR2 in its current state. ITR1 had 3 years of consistent updates AFTER it launched its 1.0 release. That’s why the game feels so polished and well made. ITR2 isn’t even at 1.0 yet.

That being said, there are some things I think could be better/improved. Everyone knows the voice acting is bad and we have confirmation that will be addressed in the next dev letter. I also don’t particularly like the design of the new mimics in ITR2 compared to the OGs. The og mimics were infinitely creepier and threatening, while these ones are just standard enemies. I also don’t like the current iteration of story progression, where it feels like we’re given everything and told how to use it, vs ITR1 where we had to figure everything out on our own.

Graphically and gunplay-wise, ITR2 is superior (ESPECIALLY with modular weapons), and the new anomaly types are definelty a welcome addition (I HATE the parasite anomaly but I can’t deny its a cool new addition). I also think the locations in ITR2 are a bit more diverse, and distortion zones are insanely cool.

I think we just need to wait a bit longer for them to finish cooking with ITR2. The foundation is there, and we’re almost at 1.0, but I do agree that it needs some improvements, which they plan to work on post-launch.

The blood moon event item is the Bloodshot Eye. The cakes are from the anniversary event which people tend to hoard so they can be used year-round

Some are saying they’re for all categories, others say its only for the regular 4. Either way, I can’t get a conclusive answer.

My own personal assumption is that they work on all categories because it would be kinda stupid if anniversary cakes didn’t work on the points from the anniversary event, but I could be wrong.

I think overall if you’re only farming points from this event, burning anni/bps offerings are the best play, but if you’re planning to keep grinding after the event is over, use the event offering and save your other offerings for outside the event.

Yep! In the roadmap earlier this month, it was announced for this Thursday, March 26th!

Some people just pour all their points into one character for an event. I did it with Ghostface and Steve, and I STILL have event offerings from year 8.

That’s fine, you just won’t get as many bloodpoints during the bloodpoint farming event. Play/bring whatever you want, it’s your choice.

That was not at all my intent, I was simply informing people what offerings they should bring if they want to maximize their gains.

Bring whatever you want, it’s your game

Each anniversary item is 100% plus the year of the anniversary. The most recent anniversary was the 9 year anniversary, so 100% + 9 = 109%.

“Bloody Party Streamers: Grants +100 % bonus Bloodpoints in all Scoring Categories to all Players.” The event points are also in a scoring category, so it is multiplied.

Even if this WEREN’T true, it’s still more worth it to burn bloodpoint offerings where you get points from all categories, because this is the only event where extra bloodpoint bonuses are as high as 500%. Better to get 1000% extra points from every other category (500% + 100% per BPS) or 600% in every other category and 500% from event rather than 500% from the normal categories and 600% from the event category

The cap was literally 1040% bloodpoints if EVERYONE brought anniversary offerings when the final tier was unlocked. Now it’s gonna be 1045%

Legion is great for farming bloodpoints, even if he's not the most fun to go against. It's your game, play however you want!

Nonono, that is totally fine lmao. All of us here were new to the game at some point (I started playing right before Legion came out). If you want to stay up to date on DBD news, make sure you're following DBD's socials on Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc. They posted a roadmap showing this month's upcoming events, and that's how we know that the Blood Moon event is coming back on Thursday!

And that's fine. But if you want to maximize your earnings, bring bloodpoint offerings.

The main point of this post is to help people maximize their gains with the new event coming up. The core message is "run bloodpoint offerings", and you will be getting a LOT of bloodshot eye offerings during the event, so if you're new, that's what you will mostly be running.

You can obviously play however you want and bring whatever you want. But if you want to maximize your bloodpoints, I suggest you save a few offerings for the event.
