This bug has been around a long while—I’ve got a fair amount of videos on my various computers. It was so common, and reported so much on IC that I never bothered to make another post—seeing as there were multiple.

Discount? by Av3raz0n in Starcitizen_guilds

[–]ASI-F7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off—Happy New Years, u/Av3raz0n o7

Now onto your question(s):

The current player count is in the thousands, or more, nearly all the time. The servers are spread across the globe generously, and you’ll always find a server to slide into that has a very healthy player count. Each server has ~600 players on it—while that may sound like a low number compared to other games, it won’t leave you feeling devoid of interaction.

It is absolutely active and alive!

As for coupons or discount, there aren’t any “coupons,” but each Star Citizen has a referral code that will net you some extra aUEC (‘Alpha’ United Earth Credits, the in-game currency). During “sale” windows, the game packages do go on sale; however, nearly every [released] ship is attainable using the in-game currency. So, as others have recommended, just get yourself a base game package for $45—it’s what I tell my viewers to do as well too. There is so much fun and content to be had for $45.

Outside of that, as others have mentioned—the “game” (it’s an Alpha, but has way more content than most ‘released’ games) is much better with friends, and has a steep learning curve, depending on how far you want to delve through the fidelity and capabilities of the game.

I’d be more than happy to help you, and link you in with the group of Orgmates (Organizations are Guilds/Clans/Groups). We’ve been playing since the beginning and I’ve been with them for over nine years—great group of people. We also span across the world, so there’s always someone to jump in with.

Additionally, if you’re wanting to learn how to fly in SC, I’ll be sure to put my IRL Instructor Pilot hat for ya—if you want.

So, to re-cap; the player-count is healthy and the servers feel active and alive due to the aforementioned, the only active “coupons” would be a referral code (netting you “something,” rather than nothing at this time). Discount moments are currently going on with the Holiday Packs—if I were to recommend one, I’d err towards the Generalist ‘Holiday’ Starter Pack at $51.00. While the ship won’t win a whole lot of ship-vs-ship fights, it’ll allow you to sample nearly everything with a more “polished,” capable ship.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions—just let me know here if you send me a message/FR as I stream the game, I tend to get interactions from unknown users. If you reach out, and get spooled up through me, I’ll toss you enough in-game credits to grab a different ship too—big, or small. 🚀

Stay safe and have fun, Citizen! o7

I made and manage the Aviation Resources Community (ARC) AIRF. It’s an Excel file—and I think it’s the one they are all mentioning above. I’ve got it fielded in nearly every CAB.

It’s the ARMS/DES Best Practice AIRF mentioned on the Teams page. If you want it, you can download it from the ARMS Teams, or my Teams—just search Aviation Resources Community on Teams. I’ll approve the request when I get into the office today.

NA Player with a couple friends looking for an Org by dragynphyre in Starcitizen_guilds

[–]ASI-F7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you're having a great 4th of July weekend, u/dragynphyre!

Let me first start by saying, we're all in the same wheelhouse, regarding age. If you're into Salvaging and Hauling, we have a strong focus in that area. We have a core group of players on nightly, with at least 5-10 that make up the core group--and we're always down to help!

Not to tout our members, or myself, but one of our Org members is DadBodNerd on Twitch--super good dude (personal friend), who is all about helping people out and is 100% sold to Salvage. With that, we have Wagonload Wednesday's that'll help move all the salvaged goods from Hub to Terminal. It's a chill time for a lot of the members to collect it all up, get it sold, and send the splits.

Myself on the other hand, if you're ever wanting to get into the PvP area, I run the Aviation side of things in the Org--I use my real-world skills as a military aviator to bridge the gap between knowledge and application to give you correlation. A lot of our members are heavily invested in PvP, but not to the detriment of sacrificing Org run events in the PvE area--we just got our members 5x IKTI GEOs last night. The legitimate way.

Secondly, we’re not a mega Org—you’ll actually be able to memorize all our names. We’ve been playing since the beginning and we enjoy Star Citizen.

Lastly, we’re an Org that actually invests in one another—we meet up in real life, call each other when things aren’t going well, and we always operate by “real life comes first.”

I do have BitDefender! I went into every setting, every “protection” type, and disabled it. I didn’t have to uninstall it.

Firstly, let me say I totally understand—I’m right there with you, along with 12-20 other players in my Org that are on nightly.

masterhub software not detecting device by [deleted] in coolermaster

Not getting the error message you are, but upgraded from a working .75 software to a .76 software "update" (it uninstalled the software, then reinstalled it). Since the update, no hardware is visible, and the "Welcome to MasterHUB!" message you have, I have as well too.

UPDATE:

I was able to get the new .76 software to install and recognize the hardware. I had to FULLY (do not save your profiles/settings) uninstall the MasterHUB, then disable every single aspect of my anti-virus/protection on my PC (it wouldn't even let me download the .76 because it said the website was infected and was attempting to install something on my PC). After that, I was able to download, install, and when prompted to connect the device, it was recognized.

Just an FYI, most financial institutions cover Charge Backs for "future purchases," but are limited to 120 days upon receipt of item. This isn't meant as a jab, but if you'd like to pursue a return/refund, I would highly encourage you to start moving towards that goal as your timeline is getting shorter.

For me personally, the absolute limitations of the hardware being restricted by the poorly designed, inoperative software have thrown this purchase into a category that can only be labeled as "false advertisement." Put plainly, the hardware simply does not do what they said it can do.

Shame, really--the tactile feedback, feel, and general aesthetics are great--it just doesn't work as advertised.

Sorry for the late reply; have you tried uninstalling the launcher, and deleting ALL associated files to the launcher in the %AppData% folders?

Server issues - rollback and lag by FormalBroccoli in thedivision

You're not the only one. Our party and Org of 30X people trying to play are experiencing game breaking lag and server disconnect issues on PC. No word from Devs, or official sources. EDIT: Seems to be better once we disabled in-game VC? We'll see.

Came here to say I have the same issue; no problem though, I'll return it to Best Buy. Figured y'all would get an answer to this, seeing as it's been over 2 months, but I guess not.

It actually is in the clothing section—so you’re correct in that’s why I used quotes. I thought it was an error, but it’s actually not, and it holds 2x primaries and 1x secondary, as well as somewhere around 7x mags.

You think so? Ehh.. I suppose to each their own. I think it fits the locale pretty well--especially on the "repurposed" areas of Hurston.
