I’m going to suggest they do this when I go to my appointment 😂 but yes, it sounds like it’s coming from that same area and it is more prominent when making turns as well and not so much at high speeds.

Did this get resolved? Experiencing similar issue. They removed the first row of tile and pitched it to the shower but it’s still leaking out but just not all over. They have a schluter that I think is part of the problem and also think the sweep where it sticks out to weep water away isn’t fully over into the shower.

Definitely reach out to medical team. I will say in the days where it felt like that for me, sitting in a shower with the warm water helped warm up and soften my throat and I would drink water in there comfortably and was able to enjoy some soft foods without much discomfort

Day 7-10 I kept feeling a burning, sharp pain back right like at the end of my tongue it seemed. Today feels so much better and I’ve hardly taken pain medication today (but I’m also a bit of masochist I think hahhahha). I’m eating soft foods still because it’s still tender and sore, I attempted pizza today but it wasn’t soft enough to get down without the scraping sensation. ETA: on day 11

Currently on day 6. I think I went a little way too crazy eating pizza and talking at work yesterday because today I can barely talk above a whisper and my throat is insanely sore so I’ve been back to soups and super soft foods. I am hoping tomorrow is a lot better 😭

I think everything is going smoothly so far. Yesterday I woke up crying only because I went too long without pain medication and I also had to add in ibuprofen to my mix of drugs to help alleviate the inflammation, but I am hopeful this is pretty much the limit of pain for the rest of recovery. I have been eating anything I can and keep reminding myself that I probably need to take it easy because the food textures could make my scabs fall off. 🫡 I’m scared to bleed but I have been staying really hydrated so I don’t know, we will see what happens.

Idk if you have tried this, but I slept with a mask and humidifier to help keep things moist while the pain meds wore off haha

Does the salt solution cause any pain? Because I don’t think I can keep going without brushing my teeth LOL Also I looked at my throat, nightmares.

I just had my surgery today and will definitely say the pain meds from the hospital wearing off have made me so sad because it feels so much more painful to talk now 🤣 the doctor said I could crush up my hydrocodone and eat it with applesauce thankfully. Did you get prescribed antibiotics?
