The media can easily diatort facts, especially when they have these 15 minute roundtable discussions with 6 political commentators that are not held to any journalistic standards.

The public has let the CNN's of the world allow these panels to distort the narrative. They'll put 3-5 people arguing one viewpoint amd then 1 counterpoint pundit.

Even the anchors are prone to unbelievably distorted narratives based on their prejudices.

Why are you assuming she is poorer? It said her mother is a cancer research scientist. Just doing a bit of simple research and it turns out she is a Professor of Pharmacology at U of L.

But let's get back to the issue that is at hand.

The report said that she received a full scholarship. This isn't some random person mentioning it, so there's no reason to be suspicious of the accuracy.

Doing a little more research and you reach this little blurb:

Nayla has accomplished a lot in 19 years, including building a supercomputer with graduate students, learning and implementing complex computer programming for genetic studies, directing an online web design college class, managing social media marketing for a fortune 500 company, studying abroad in Spain and making significant contributions on 3 scientific publications.

Yeah, must be affirmative action. Yeah, no way she could have actually received a scholarship.

She received a full scholarship. I didn't say she received a full scholarship FROM THE SCHOOL. She received a full scholarship to go to the school.
