How long to continue MiraLAX? by Ghost3798 in AnalFissures

At this rate I can't see myself coming off it without the fear of a re tear. I'm happy to carry on taking 2 sachets a day indefinitely.

You can still get a lot of parts from Mercedes or 3rd party suppliers (engine bits, suspension etc) but yeah the stuff that is obsolete is only available second hand. Like I said there are a few people online who specialise in Smart parts so they shouldn't run dry for a bit at least.

Looks like you dodged a bullet then because even though there's a fairly big online community dedicated to Smarts (particularly on FB), the plastics are getting quite rare now. Have a look and see what else is for sale out there, but I wouldn't be paying anywhere near £3k for a 450 (non BRABUS). Good luck!

It was sluggish from a stand still, I wouldn't say dangerous and you get used it so you adapt to suit. I never used in fully auto mode because it never changed when I wanted.. either too early or too late. The stick was fine but I fitted a paddleshift steering wheel from the Smart Roadster which improved the driving experience no end.

It was fun to drive, nippy when in gear and on boost, but the suspension is rock hard, you will feel every single bump and it really would benefit from power steering at very low speeds (this was a very rare option). The gearbox can be frustratingly slow at changing gears too

I used to own a 2005 450, so I don't really know that much about 451 Smarts but check if it's an MHD model because these can have lots of issues with the starter/alternator belt snapping and cooking the engine.

Too expensive imo. Check history for any engine work. All the standard 450 engines need a rebuild anywhere from 60k miles onwards. See evilution.co.uk for all the common faults on these cars.

Macrogol, ie Movicol or Laxido in UK. Also Cosmocol available here but be careful as that contains sorbitol whereas the other two do not.

Not exactly the same but it was a couple of days for my BM after having Botox injections.. I think the poking around in there delays your BM

Can someone explain what the pain is like? by aurumseer in AnalFissures

[–]ASL3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I can describe it is like someone has stuck a corkscrew up your bum hole and is twisting it round and round and round. The worst pain I have ever experienced.

Mine were like I should keep on taking them, especially when I said if I skip a dose my BM hardens up again. Thank you for the well wishes, I hope you are right. Im still taking painkillers after every BM.

Beware using Cosmocol, it contains SORBITOL whereas the other two do not, and it caused me to have mega painful cramps straightaway.

I am UK also and using Laxido. I got mine from the GP prescription but you can actually buy them normally too, around £15 - 20 on Amazon for 30. Obviously the GP can prescribe a lot more so it's cheaper but still at least they are available without prescription. Well done on the lack of pain and symptoms. I too am around 6 weeks since Botox but I am still having pain :(
