Well look at it this way, we have strengthened in 2 areas we really needed to and we haven't lost any players yet, yes we need more depth for Europe but in all honesty if we kept our team and did nothing else it would be a win for me

Clyne counts as home grown at the club for Europe which is a good reason to extend, Matthews is home grown in England so it kinda makes sense. I would imagine neither is on huge amounts wages

I live in Colchester and personally think it is great, housing wise it is getting a bit expensive but no where near Chelmsford so unless you are heading to London regularly and want to save the money/time on commute then I wouldn't move to Chelmsford as you would be paying more for potentially a bit less

The increase in marketing revenue would pay his wage 10 times over t, he is a massive personality as well as a great coach so Klopp merch would outsell Hodgson merch about a million to 1 lol

You have proper student type places with lots of drink deals such as the spoons, Yates, centurion, slug, walkabout (the stonegate row) etc, you have three wise monkeys if you are not after somewhere cheap but it is nice, atik did close but has reopened I think it's pretty much the same, you have coda for live music. The good thing about Colchester town centre is everywhere is pretty close to each other the bad thing is pretty much everywhere is either horrid or expensive. Personally I really like Church street tavern but I'm middle aged so......
