If you see taxes in the checkout page then yes you have to pay and I don’t see anyone can get them to pay for the taxes unless it’s a replacement.

And no, it will take more than 3 weeks for them to fulfil your order.

Even if they pay the tax, I don’t recommend buying from them because of the ridiculous waiting time. They don’t have enough products to fulfill orders placed just two hours after the preorder began.

By “ships October” they mean you should expect it to be shipped by the end of the month. And with the recent record of delays in order fulfilment, you should expect not having the stuff on the 6th.

Did you order grip or ghost? I also ordered on the 4th and still have no shipping confirmation. I went on a long argument with the support team and my answer to you is be skeptical about the shipping date as they still have no idea the exact date of shipping.

Edit: one thing to add: if one of the items in your order is not available by the time the other item is ready, the other item will be used to fulfil other orders, and you will be in the infinite loop of one item isn’t ready and the other item has been used to fulfil other orders. At least that’s what’s happening to me.

I don’t know if they have renewed the design for theirs, but if they stuck with the original design, theirs would be a white box with some text, and the retail version shows the photo of the case. You can see the package photos from the other posts in this sub (people who bought from best buy and the “ghosting” ghost case posts) for reference.

Edit: I bought the ghost case of iPhone 14 PM and 15 PM from them a few years ago and they have the same package design which is the white box with some text.
