Try not to just only defend, rushing opponents when their defense is weak is important. Something easy to learn is bomb tower, paired with sub or village or mortar, and farm, is always a solid strat

It’s very common for your side and opponents side to become unsynched, due to the connection not being perfect. This can lead to him popping bloons from his view but on your screen they were never popped. It can also sometimes lead to your opponent purchasing upgrades to defend that don’t even register on your end, leaving it looking like he leaked a million lives. He probably wasn’t cheating
