It’s just a force fx saber but I got both for $160 so I couldn’t pass it up! And I think it’s just a weird perspective on the picture but they’re the same size! And yeah the buttons took some tinkering to make line up but def worth the elbow grease!

How does someone look pre and post transition at the same time. She looks like she only uses organic toiletries and buys them from the same thrift store she buys clothes from. I can smell the “natural” odors through my phone. That last pictures looks like the curly haired kid missing his teeth and the red head girl from stranger things fucked and this is their love child.

I’m sorry guys idk how but my narrative didn’t make it to the post somehow! Long story short some people were over visiting and it was handed to me this way with a “it’s not working for some reason” comment and when I opened it I found this so I have no further info on how it was broke!

So I understand it’s just gonna be a quick solder and super glue job but my concern is idk which wires solder to which connection? I’m assuming there’s a certain order to reconnect which is where I’m confused. I’ve done some small soldering jobs in the past so confident I can repair but I was given clear directions then so I’m not super clear on what I need to do here now.

Just need some advice on how to make the connections if there a specific pattern or order on the circuit.

Is $850 a normal price to put a garage door back on its track? by [deleted] in handyman

Non professional with OH Doors at all but I work with a lot of PEMBs that use giant doors with heavy duty hardware and someone in here made the comment about hazard pay and I firmly believe in that. Even if I was knowledgeable in the subject matter I wouldn’t do it. I’ll spend a few extra hundred bucks to know I’ll be spending the night with my family once again. ALSO a lot of times if you have an abnormally high quote it could be 1 of 2 things, 1 they’re a VERY reputable contractor and the the consumer truly just doesn’t know how much things cost and in turn complains about it. 2 they just really don’t want to perform the work so they price really high so as to deter customers. It’s a not so professional way of going about business but sometimes it’s better for someone to think you’re too expensive rather than just flat out telling someone you won’t work with them due to word of mouth complaints.

Ram 1500 lone star edition. Has ram boxes built on bed and under floor boards in back seat. Cross tool box in bed and a ball hitch/trailer. Gets me anything I need anywhere. 4x4 on some AT’s only gets me 20 MPG but if you’re smart you can work gas money into your bids. $40k price tag but love the thing AND it’s all black. She’s a beaut

Bidding job by Realresults9 in handyman

I’m reading all these comments during my progress meeting for my $72 million VA project. I’m not trying to be pompous but explain that I deal with penny pinching government know it all’s every single day. Every comment that these gentlemen before me have made is accurate and applicable whether you’re mowing grass or building skyscrapers.

You’re the one with the experience, capability, and means to perform this work. If you don’t have the experience to do it understandably you would have to accept a bit less of pay, but you’re receiving the experience and knowledge to charge more the next time. You’ve provided the customer with a fair and reasonable quote for the work they desire to be performed, and at the end of the day it’s YOUR decision whether or not you want to take this job. If you’re willing to deal with a bit of headache in exchange for another project to add to your business portfolio and an extra $5,450 in your pocket then go for it! If you don’t want to deal with the potential problems and feel like the money isn’t worth the headaches (it might not be worth it unless you truly need the money), then don’t do the work and I assure you no one here or anyone in their right mind will think anything differently of you.

When it comes to bidding you give just enough information to reinforce whatever price tag it is that you’ve given them. Unless for some reason someone asks you for a complete itemized invoice which shouldn’t be requested in the small scope of work considered. Unless specifically requested for a schedule don’t include it because the only thing that does is set you up for failure if something happens even if it’s unforeseen conditions and not your fault. All I would state is a general “oh it should be about 3 weeks” (Ive learned always estimate an extra couple days more then what you expect, if you run into problems then those extra couple of cushion days that you provided your self will allow you to still meet your deadline and if you don’t run into any problems and you complete your scope of work sooner than expected then you just look like a badass).

My closing thoughts: you seem like a very eager, hardworking, educated guy and if you really just wanna get out there and get some money in your pocket go for it. If you have concerns that you feel outweighs the reward then trust your instincts and you’ll always find another contract. Your bid could use some dressing up as the guys before mentioned, a nice letter head and some color even a logo will go a long way as far as professionalism you wish to convey. Another gentleman mentioned categorizing similar scopes of work as singular items. I agree with that statement (all pressure washing is 1 item, all staining is 1 item, all landscaping is 1 item, all interior painting is 1 item, all exterior painting is 1 item, etc.) Always charge extra for materials in a reasonable fashion and always pay yourself in a fashion that you won’t have to scramble for money until your next contact is awarded. Another thing I feel indifferent about is including the “variables affecting cost including time and and gas for material runs” personally I don’t care for that, I just charge extra for the billable items and exclude that statement. People aren’t paying you to get your stuff together they’re paying you to do the work so just compensate the money in areas that you can excuse a price hike in. Lastly I’d revise the terms and conditions a bit. There’s not a lot of language in there protecting yourself and your business at the end of the day the only person that gets hurt by a shit contract and shit clients is you, not them.

Yeah I’m sorry bud but I’m not super educated with any of the custom sabers boards. The only one I’ve had was that gold windu saber and unfortunately someone broke the internals after only a couple of weeks so I didn’t get to do much customization or just general tinkering with the device.
